Does anyone have any cheap VPN suggestions? (openvpn)
Not a big user, dont need unlimited bandwidth or anything like that.
Currently with vpn.sh, signed up when it was on special but now the price is like 5GBP a month which i cant justify.

need to access via standard OPENVPN software. i dont want free CRAP.
edit: although using the vpn in opera sounds like it can be useful in some situations.I know a cheap way to get a VPN.
It will require purchasing a cheap monthly VPS and setting up your own server.
So, it all depends on if you are doing legal content. With legal content you can get a cheap VPS ~$1 a month to leech as your heart is content.
If you want illegal content, you'll need to find certain cheap VPS in certain countries. These countries attract a premium. Usually $3-5 a month.
I won't name any certain companies as that would arise and be seen as a sales pitch.
Why do you want a VPN?
plenty of reasons. access content restricted by region, security, anonymity to name but a few.
I know why a person would want to use a VPN, I just wanted to know what the OP intended to use it for. That would help me give a recommendation of which provider to use or maybe the OP might not even need a VPN (SmartDNS may be more appropriate for some uses)

I have 100mb connection
with a 47mbit VPN connection…Except they have been known to hand over logs of customers :(
epic fail.
I also requested cancellation of my vpn.sh account. Just make sure to request cancellation at the end of the billing period - I've got another six months to go before they start charging me! So I will be looking for a low use, cheap VPN provider too. I'm guessing there will be plenty of offers on black friday or christmas sales..
Cyberghost is only around 10 aud for a year via humble bundle at the moment.
Ivacy is offering $1.50 per month for a year with the second year free.
Been with them now for a couple of years with no issues.
Opera Browser comes with a free VPN!
