On the 20th May i placed an order in BuyInvites Henley's sale for a hoodie and a t-shirt. All up i paid $81.00 inc. postage for the purchase. I received them today. I ordered the following hoodie.
http://www.espyclothing.com/henleys-revelation-hooded-sweate… (But blue writing instead of yellow)
Instead they sent a black hoodie with a zip down the front, with a white/cream Henleys stitched on the front. Nothing even close to what i ordered. http://shop.newgeneration.com.au/products/henleys-mens-troph… (but cream writing)
Also was an attached note;
"Dear Valued Member,
It is with deep regret that i write to inform you that unfortuantly, due to a supplier stock error, we are not able to provide you with the Henleys Nigella Hoodie from your recent order. As a result we have replaced this with the Henleys Trophy Hoodie, which has a RRP of $10 more than the item you ordered at no additional cost. We would like to also offer you free postage on your next order, please contact me at [email protected] to arrange your free postage"
This must be in breach of the Trades Practices act, and i simply not good enough.
I don't care if the RRP of this is $10 more! Its ugly. (i also think they are lying since the other had a RRP of $99.99 as stated, and this is marked at $99.99 on the tag). Any1 got any thoughts/ideas/views on this?
That is just not on. Contact the guy, ask for a full refund (including postage already paid and a refund for postage to send back). I could understand a substitution for the same colour, but that is completely different. They should never have sent it to you, and I think they have had a few mixups to many. On the bright side, at least you didn't have to wait a month for it to arrive…. (ok not quite a bright side).
