      Done

      • I'm sorry was just being stupid. Great deal OP!

  • Good deal, but where the hell is the paypal payment option. The G2A Pay button doesn't appear for me?

    • Same here, went through all the trouble of making the account too.

      • That worked. Ta!

        • Mine is stuck at verifying paypal email address. How long did it take to receive yours?

        • @pitoui: Same as mine, need to wait 24 hours?

All good, another verification email came. Got code minute after verifying.

        • @bakalien: Make sure you guys check your junk mail and approve the paypal email sent by offergamers. Then wait about 2 mins and you should receive the code

        • @longislandicetea: Got my verification email and code after around 45mins. I also just received an email reply from Mohammad from Offgamers. Very impressed.

      • $11.45 AUD?

        • Seems to have gone up; I'm sure when I first opened the link it was $9 something.

  • Price Error? No other recent game close to that price.

  • Wouldn't you need a Indonesian PSN account?

    • +4

      Indonesia PSN account needed.

      Maybe

    • Probably why it's mentioned in the description.

    • Yes you need, just create as secondary account and you still can play the game in your primary account.

      • "cannot use the content. This content can be used only by the following users, who have license for it"

How do I play using my primary account?

        • +4

You have to activate the Indonesian account as primary. It's a bit confusing the way they word it but you are actually assigning your PS4 as the primary console for that account, not saying that this is "the primary account for this console". You can have multiple accounts marked as primary :)

The cool thing is that once you have marked your PS4 as primary for that account you can play the games from your normal PSN ID. If you give a friend of yours the password to the Indonesian account they can download the game and play it from that Indonesian account at the same time as you are playing it from your normal PSN ID. You can even play together multiplayer, two for the price of one :D I did it with black ops 3 and you can play 2 players split screen per PS4 and then have 4 player co-op campaign on 2 TVs and 2 PS4s with 1 copy of the game.

        • @Agret: Thanks for the help so far.

I've reread most of the comments in this thread including my previous questions and answers, and I don't think this question has been asked and answered, but maybe it has.

So if I create 2 or 3 secondary accounts (Indonesia, Canada, US - which requires a new email and new account name for each); I can then purchase games from each PSN store (using paypal and an online PSN credit reseller such as offgamers.com); and the purchased games will be assigned to the appropriate secondary account; and those games can be playable on the primary account (AUS PSN) by assigning the new secondary account(s) as being a primary account - (which I don't know how to do yet but I think it will be easy to find this out and luckylittle (below) says that s/he was able to have both the existing and new account as primary.

Above you've said that there's no limitations on how many accounts can be listed as primary and that would mean all secondary accounts can be made primary accounts which will allow all games to be playable under the one account.

Does this mean that if I buy a PSN Indonesia game, and I currently have PS+ Australia, that I can play any online component of the PSN Indonesia game? If so, then this is a total no brainer and I should buy all games from the PSN sites that offer the best deal.

          Couple of questions..

It looks like PSN Canada has the same deals as PSN US, but it slightly cheaper. It looks like the UK PSN and rest of Europe probably won't offer good deals. Is this right?

Is there a good place (alternative to offgamers) to purchase PSN Canada / PSN US credits?

If it helps anyone PSN Canada has great prices on Sleeping Dogs, Thief, Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, Murdered: Soul Suspect. I think the Indonesian site had a good deal on Plants vs Zombies 2 - I think around $27 AUD.

    • My bad…

  • can anyone do a tutorial on how to get this?

  • +2

I know its a super bargain but lots of people are reporting frame rate issues with this game, and you can see for yourself how choppy the frame rate looks on PS4 compared to Dirt Rally just looking at youtube vids. If it eventually gets patched and they fix the frame rate I may regret not pulling the trigger. C'est la vie.

  • Hi , seem need Indonesia address for the psn account.
    What can I input?
    Thanks

    • +4

Just put a hotel address from Jakarta in.

    • Paddy's Pub in Bali

  • Thanks

  • Must be a price error, probably should be a extra 0 on the end

Bought one anyway for $11 worth the gamble if Sony take it back

    • Good like selling a game for $790k in Indo. Piracy is vast there.

      • There's no piracy available for PS4/XB1 (yet)

  • Well worth the money. Thanks OP!

  • did all the steps and verified email via paypal account, now waiting for transaction of prepaid card to be approved, and hopefully when that arrives and all goes well, i can add funds to psn account and proceed through trans….. fingers crossed my $12……

    • so now i gotta send my id scanned images across to https://www.shasso.com/ to process transaction, ishh must of done it quickly. Not sure if i should give out my details like this… any1 else have this? or am i the only lucky 1

  • thanks OP.
it's now $12.06 with paypal transaction but still worth it :)

need to activate my ps4 onto ID store tonight.

  • I successfully bought it under my new Indonesian account. How do i transfer it to my AU account now?

    • +1

You don't transfer to your AU account. Login to your PS4 with the Indo account, then activate the PS4 as the main one, start downloading the game. Then login with your AU account and enjoy.

      • I created a new PS4 user (Indo) and downloaded the game under that user. When i go back to my primary user (Au) and want to play this game, i get this message:

        CANNOT USE THE CONTENT.
THIS CONTENT CAN BE USED ONLY BY THE FOLLOWING USERS, WHO HAVE A LICENSE FOR IT. IF YOU WANT TO USE THE CONTENT, PURCHASE IT FROM PLAYSTATION STORE.

Does it mean i have to always switch users when i want to play and all my achievements will go under Indo user?

        • Nevermind, i activated the PS4 on the Indo account as my primary and it works now. Both accounts must be activated as primary.

  • +1

I've been aware that a lot of people have different PSN accounts, mostly US accounts, in order to get better deals for both games and PS+. But I've always felt that it's not quite worth the hassles.

But this deal kind of changes my perspective - especially if some of the Asian sites have consistently much much lower pricing.

    So can I ask…

    • which countries are worth having secondary PSN accounts for

    • is it possible to have many secondary accounts? does it cause any issues? is it against Sony T&Cs?

    • does it influence multiplayer gaming or DLC at all?

    • can we buy overseas DLC for Australian bought disk based games?

    • does the language cause issues in navigating other country PSN sites, or is it pretty straightforward

    • are there any IP restrictions in accessing the secondary PSN sites

    • Very good questions, i would also like to know the answers

    • +3

I use Canada as a secondary. $1 for $1 with the benefits of the US store. New release digital games are $80 and they have tonnes of flash sales.

It probably does but Shuhei Yoshida has done it, so why not.

Multiplayer depends on the title, all the AAA titles I've had worked, but I played planetside 2 and the UK and US versions don't work together. DLC can have issues when it is linked to your account. Elder Scrolls Online for example.

      NO, DLC is region locked.

Signing up is a hassle, but the store is the same. Heaps of tutorials if you get stuck.

      Not that I'm aware of.

    • Another good question…

      • If you buy a game from a non English speaking country, will the game still be available in English?

Personally I'm only interested in buying AA and AAA games cheaply. A good game or even a mildly interesting older AA or AAA game for $10 is a bargain and I'd be happy to buy several at that price. I won't be buying the games close to release date anyhow

      • Depends on the title and which region for if the game is available in English or not, it's usually stated on the store page if applicable to that region

        • +1

Yeah I had a 2nd look and it seems that all or almost all games are in English one way or another. They seem to have English/Chinese versions, or English only, or Chinese only.

    • +1
      1. I have a Canada, US and Japan PSN secondary accounts.

      2. Definitely. Canada exchange rate is parity and 50% of the time they match US prices. Otherwise US PSN prices are fairly decent. Japan has games that never get released outside of Japan albeit they aren't in English, I generally use it to download demos and PS4 themes.

      3. Nope but you need to buy the DLC from the region you bought the game. They all works on your AU account as long as the secondary accounts are tied to the console.

      4. Only for PAL region games. EU/UK versions will work with AU DLC and vice versa.

      5. Only the Japanese store but it takes 5 minutes of testing menus to get the hang of it.

      6. No. The only region restrictions is paying directly through PSN. Paypal will always get rejected and most credit cards don't work without a US/Canada billing address. PCgamesupply is the best place to buy Canada PSN cards and Amazon is best place to buy US PSN cards. Play-Asia kinda rips you off on JP PSN cards but there's nowhere else that is any cheaper really. They are all digital and arrive within minutes of payment.

  • Thank you so much!!!

  • Guys, I followed steps 1-3 however where do I get "the code to add funds to your wallet"?

    • +1

Offgamers email you a link, which leads to your account where you can view the 12 character code.

Check your spam folder if it's not in your inbox.

  • Thanks OP, downloading it now…..

  • +1

OK, so I think I need to ask some more questions…

The Indonesian PS+ is 350,000 rp which is $35 AUD - a little under half the cost of Australian PS+

If Indonesian PS+ is cheaper than Australian, and the cost of the games on sale is cheaper, and there's no influence on multiplayer, and I can use the games on my current PSN Account (which I suppose only matters for trophies in anycase (?)) then I can't see why I shouldn't switch over.

Am I missing something, is there a downside?

With the current PSN games that i've bought, I know that i'll be able to play them offline with no issues with my existing PSN account, but will I be able to play them multiplayer online using the Indonesian PS+ ?

Presumably the PS+ games that I own via Australian PS+ will not be available to me at all (either online or offline) unless I continue to purchase Australian PS+.

I'm thinking that if you want to play online, then you have to have PS+, so that being the case it's probably best to stick with one PS+ country that has the best overall pricing

EDIT:- Just looking at the Indonesian site now (have to either logout of my account or use Incognito). Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline $6 each. Need for Speed Rivals complete $12. These are prices that are too tempting to say no to (if I didn't already own them).

Think I'm going to look at a few of the different PSN stores and create a secondary account or 2.

    • Yes you can play online multiplayer on your AU account by maintaining an active Indonesian PS+ subscription. The only downside is they don't get the same PS+ game collection games and that any game collection games you've collected on your AU account will be unplayable until you sub to the AU PSN again (might not be an issue though based on how lackluster the PS+ Game Collection is for PS4).

      • +1

Yeah - not being able to play AU PS+ games isn't a big problem as the only one I play is Rocket League, so I'd be happy to buy that outright - and then I think Indonesian PS+ is identical to Australian PS+ (or close to it) moving forward.

        • Regardless I think the cost savings on the subscription outweigh the limited games library they put out anyway.

        • @Agret: Yep. Agreed. Also, I'm totally happy spending $15 or under on a game in a PSN sale to keep it in my library permanently - even if it isn't AAA, even if it isn't my ideal game.

    • you will be able to play games you buy on Indonesian PSN store on your Aussie account when you set the Indonesian PSN as your primary PS4.

you will also be able to play PS plus games from Indonesian PSN on Aussie PSN but not the games that you have already got in your Aussie PS Plus library

      • +1

        Thanks.

Is there any need to, or benefit to playing Indonesian PSN games on an Aussie account? The only benefit I can think of is to continue to build trophies - which I don't care about at all myself. Can't think of any other benefit. Oh I suppose if you have PSN friends it would be handy.

        • you play the same game, its the price you pay. I think this price is a mess up from Sony's side cause I checked PS Prices website and there are no similar deals and all prices are more or less the same to Aussie PSN.

I bought Need For Speed from Canadian PSN but played on my Aussie PSN, it was cheap on the Canadian PSN. There are no differences unless some games enforce language restrictions, which in this case, none exists.

TL;DR Saving money is the key point, if you want to save some money, I would advise you get this deal.

  • wow, just checked out the website, it has 12 months PS Plus for AUD $36.28 and 3 months for AUD $13.13

    • -1

Before you make that purchase read the notes: "This product is licensed solely for the use in the following territories: Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia."

You will not be able to use this with your Australian account.

      • you just set that account as your primary ps4 and continue playing online in your Aussie PSN.

also you will be able to play the PS plus games on aussie psn

        • +1

It seems you are right; I managed to play a PS Plus game obtained via my UK account, online with my Indonesian PSN ID.

So it seems if you are happy to lose your existing PS Plus game collection, you can save a lot of $$ subscribing via an overseas PSN ID.

I honestly thought Sony would have locked the ability to play online solely to the PS Plus subscribed ID.

        • @Master Baiter: yeah, you have to sacrifice the PS plus game collection and the ability to upload your saves into PS Plus cloud unless you are playing with the account that has PS plus on it.

i am currently using Canadian PSN because before 22 september, PS Plus prices were $50 aud for 1 year and I grabbed it…

maybe next year, I will get indonesian if they are still cheap…

most PS plus games are playable in the first month or so, after that it becomes useless unless its Rocket League.

Beware that Indonesian PSN might not have the same PS Plus games, as I have read..

        • @Master Baiter: other than Madriders and Resident evil, all the games for October's PS Plus members are different in Indonesian PSN: https://asia.playstation.com/id/en/psn/psPlus#offer
