King of Shaves Azor4 Razor + 2 Cartridges for $2.50 + Shipping @ Shave.com.au

100

A few items on special at shave.com.au, standout bargain is the Azor4 razor with 2 cartridges, was $10.95 now $2.50.
I tried one of these a couple of years back when woolies stocked them, I like it but woolies stopped stocking them shortly after and I haven't seem them in stores anywhere since. I'm not fussy when it comes to razors, but I rate this razor as better dollar shave club, not quite as good as gilette mach3.

Spend over $30 for free shipping.

Shipping $8 per order kills it for me.

looks like they'd be good for hairy bean bags…

only worth it if you buy 12 for $30 for free shipping?

Good idea, who in Sydney is in on a group buy?

  • +1

Factoring in shipping it would cost about the RRP any way. No deal unless you buy a heap of them to get the $30 order free shipping.

      Careful guys:

"If you are looking for the actual Azor 4 packs of Blades. We are currently out of stock until 22 November.

Honestly gentlemen, it is worth investing in a Double-Edged Safety Razor from Shave Rave (who often posts sales here) or similar supplier plus a bulk pack of Astra blades form Atlantic.Supply on ebay (normally around $20 for 100 delivered).

    • You are right. Also the UK sellers are more attractive with the lower GBP.

    • As someone who has never used such a razor and blade combo can you please elaborate as to why it is worth investing in one?

Keen to understand and potentially convert if its worthwhile.

      • +1

The DE blade cost is much lower then modern blades. They only cost 10-25cents each blade.

Many different blades to chose from, as well as many different razors to chose from giving many different combinations.

DE gives a closer shave, and people report getting rid of ingrown hairs when switching to DE.

Its like a luxury, although the cost of the razor can be quite high, its an investment that pays off over time, but potentially a low price anyway, I think my Edwin Jagger was about $35 5 years ago.

        • +1

The fact that you can get a razor called Edwin Jagger should make everyone go out and get one.

That or the Keith Brown would result in "I feeling good".

Is there an independent site that has reviews or various razors that you may know of?

        • @jollster101:

There is a lot of info online. The web has helped to make DE popular again.

Google it up, many online stores, forums, youtube channels, and blog sites, plus amazon and reviews.

These are terrible, avoid at all costs. Worst shave I've had in years.

    • +1

Agreed. The shave gels are good but the Azor razor is awful.

    • Agree. Had one. Didn't like it.

  • I actually quite like these razors as goods as your top brands and at this price defiantly worth it. But if shipping kills the deal?….

  • I think coles stock these

  • One of the worst shavers I have used. Just tore my hair out.
