    • Thanks for that. I have just purchased two.

    • bring this deal back!

Can I use this to jumpstart my car?

    • +1

More like you'll need help jumpstarting the car if you plug it in and have all 4 usb connected on car battery before running the engine, true story it happened to me!

Roadside assistance guy was like the car battery is rather new… lesson learnt

  • I have the QC3 model (with the recent ozB deal at under $10), and the previous non-QC model. Both very good quality and reliable.

For those not familiar with these models, there is only 1 QC port (coloured), the rest are regular 2.4A/5V USB.

  • I got this from Aldi last week for $6.99

      NOBODY CARES

      • Obviously someone care enough to post to a 15 day old thread.

  • Yeah what happens when you have two mobiles charging at the same time? Does it halve the charging time? Or will you be draining your car battery after three mobiles connected?

    • This is 54w charger with 2.4amp on each plug. So even if you connect 4 devices they will be charging at full speed. I'm not sure about your car battery, but im assuming you will be using this while running the engine.

    • Yeah what happens when you have two mobiles charging at the same time?

They get charged. What else would you like them to do?

Does it halve the charging time?

No, of course not. By that logic if you had 100 mobiles charging at the same time, they would charge in one second.

Or will you be draining your car battery after three mobiles connected?

It will drain your battery with no mobiles connected, with 1 or 2 or 3 or even more connected.

The headlights will drain the battery. Starting the car will drain the battery. Using the radio will drain the battery. Everything electric that's connected to the car will drain the battery of it gets used. OH NOES.

But don't worry… the car has an inbuilt charger. Wow, that's so innovative!

  • Get the qc 3.0 version for future proofing.

Also, I like the ones with the built in type c cable.

Is anyone ever going to connect 4 devices in their car?

The one that I have has a single permanently attached cable and a spare port.

    • I use all the 3 ports at the same time almost everyday. I have a dash cam and GPS and car charger and i only have one port in my car. So using this is very useful to me :)

    • Is anyone ever going to connect 4 devices in their car?

I use at least 4 ports every day… iPhone, Android phone, Battery Bank, GPS.

Actually, I use an Orico 5 port when travelling, so I have a spare port for my passenger to use.
