    Can't get enough of rice.

    • +1

Try Caulflower Rice. Easy to make, healthier for you, and way less carbs.

      • +1

where would one buy this, if one was after a product of this nature?

        • +3

Cauliflower rice is amazing. You chop up cauliflower and steam it or something - make it yourself. Don't know any more since my wife makes it ;). Once you get used to it you don't even really notice, and you've swapped pure carbs (= straight blood sugar) into eating veggies!

    +1 for the categories

    • -1

Good categories. . But be nice if the op put in the discount too.

      • +11

Thanks for the suggestion, do you want percentage or total money saved or both? yeah?

        • +1

Great job. Tough job ahead. 😊

        • +10

          @O O: How about aisle numbers? 😅

        • Money saved is more than enough, that will take you long enough to do without getting the calculator out to do % off as well :)

        • +2

          @muncan:

Jokes aside, the Coles App (don't think Woolworths does it), will tell you the aisle number of the items on your shopping list.

        • +2

@Savas Well done once again. This categorized tables is the best listing form, I recon. 😊

        • +3

          @O O: Thanks mate!

        • +2

Percentage discount would be awesome, if it's not too much work :-)

        • +1

Percent would be fine by me, love the setout. I skipped these In past cos I didnt like setout.

        • +1

Just % from the regular price is good. Just want to know when its half price.

        • +4

@hippyhippy: Oh most are half price, nearly finished

  • +3

It's like you've seen my pantry. Thanks Savas

  • +5

Great job Savas. Maybe try a table format next time?

    • +3

thanks for the suggestion, working on it right now!!

  • +2

    Good work.

  • +3

    Great list mate

  • +1

Did you know rice is life and life is rice

    • +1

      NO

  • +2

Good effort mate. Helpful and informative.

  • +2

Wish Magnum Double Chocolate will be half price as well.

  • +3

Does this include brown jasmine rice?

  • +2

Is " Last time this price" refering to how long ago it was this cheap ?
For example are you saying Arnotts Shapes have not been this cheap at Woolworths for 3 months?

    Thanks for the effort too.

    • +3

Yes, is everything okay? Sorry if it's confusing and thanks for the thanks

    • +1

dont get me wrong but im just wondering, what else could be possibly understood from that?

      • It could have been cheaper before e.g Middle Bacon Rashers are $10 this week and I read this as the last time they were $10 was 2 weeks ago but maybe 3 weeks ago they were $8 ..yet again I don't know how far back the prices go..some are saying 9 months or over a year..I am actually surprised that Middle bacon has not been cheaper than $10 this year at Woolworths. To be honest I am still not sure how to read this or I am over complicating it.

        • Tbh it was $8kg in February. I just threw it in because I like bacon

        • @Savas: It was 4 pence a pound in 1943 too.!!! I don't understand how far back are these prices are going.

        • +2

@lukeloop: Just to clarify I put down the last time it was this cheap or cheaper.

Price Hipster seems to keep the price history for a year, but most of the time it doesn't matter since it was the same price or cheaper before.

        • +2

Oh yeah you are right, it could have been also cheaper before the last time this price. Okay I see your point.

  • +1

    Nice post. Thanks for this…

the fuji aaa batteries are also 50% off, however the best before date is jan 2016.. is it normal?

    • I don't think so. You should want at least four years.

      • +1

i was looking at buying some aaa batteries, 2 is all i need, maybe 4 just in case. i picked up the fuji one it is $4.5 cheaper than the energizer $6.7, i don't really want to spend the extra $2 for something that will eventually go to the bin unused, all the 50% fuji in woolworths indoorpilly qld are best before jan 2016, while the 2020 ones are only 20% off… weird…

        • +1

Maybe tell them? They shouldn't be selling them.

        • +1

@Savas: yep I will do it tonight see if I can get something good

        • Do they have different bar codes? Same product , different dates?
