Single Mattress for Kids Use

Looking for a Single Mattress for my kid - budget around 350$ - 400$ … Options in mind

Ikea / Ecosa / Koala - but some exceeds the budget…

Like to understand whether it is worth spending few 100 more on Ecosa or Koala (comes to 550$ after discount ) -

Your suggestions please….and also any other worth considering would be great…

Koala is worth every cent and cheaper than most of its competitors.

    • Is Koala very firm ?

      • No, not really. They don't come in varying degrees of firmness. It's memory foam.

You'll have to buy a sleeping duck/sealy or something similar if you want firmness.

Try Ikea or Aldi for cheaper mattresses.

Jees, is a kid gonna notice the difference between a $100 Ikea one to a $350-$500 one?

Just remember you spend 1/3 of your life in a bed. Especially when youre still growing. The more you spend now will be worth it in the long run

Bought an Aldi one for my son a few years ago for less than $200 and still going strong. My other son liked it so much that I got him one as well. Quality seems really good. of course you have to wait until they next have them

    • thanks for the tip…do you know what month of the year they generally have this on Aldi…happy to wait…

when we bought singles, we were able to get Sealy 'seconds' around $150 a pair (BOGOF). They are mismatched fabrics, end of line etc. The place we got them from have since shut but someone must be offloading them now. maybe contact Sealy themselves? The place we got them from was Bernard & Keryn Brown (SA).

    • I am in Brisbane…any suggestions

Our daughter, now 11, has been sleeping on a Fantastic Furniture foam mattress for 5 years now and still loves it.

I think they are about $70.
