Does anyone remember the original Kettle chilli chips?

It's been like 5 years I reckon since they changed them, but they use to be actual chilli, with the ingredients pretty much just being potato oil and chilli , they were the only chips that had basically no sodium, which you wouldn't even see in the health food isle crisps, as well as they only chips hot enough to require a 1L carton of milk as a chaser. who else wants them back ? And how do we get the guys at the top to bring em back ? :(

They new ones are full of bs, and not even close to the original punch in the face heat the old ones had.

I also miss the honey baked ham ones.

    • Yer true , forgot about those , it all went down hill for kettle when red rock rocked up, and they pretty much just copied all their flavors and removed all their original ones, its probably just the same factory different bag now.

    • (profanity) those were delicious.

  • No

  • Yes! The current ones today just do not cut it compared to them!

  • It's all about the money which consists of two campaigns:

Battle 1: manipulating as many consumers as possible into into eating as much as possible using every legal means possible including steering government policy and marketing to the 0 - 12 age segment so they have a high chance of becoming lifelong consumers of your product.

Battle 2: cut production costs as much as possible because when your selling millions of items year even tiny savings per item add up to a lot.

  • Hi I thought the current chili one is great, didn't know there was a much better one!

    • Original is always the best.

      (unless we're talking electronics)

  • The current kettle chips are a ghost of their former selves.

  • back in the 90's smiths had chilli chips
    they were good too
