    • How did you get the code? By newsletter?

  • +3

Bought some Janoski's last year … Not sure if it is the same model, but they were the worst shoes ever.

The upper was like rubber and my feet were wet and sweaty all the time. Never experienced that before except when wearing rubber boots.

  • Stevie, Stevie Janowski?

    • +10

Didn't you make a similar joke last time?

      • +6

Yep. And I most probably will every time I see such a deal.

        • +1

I for one appreciate that candor.

  • amazing price , bought one of each thanks OP

  • will size 11 come back?

  • hmm no half sizes?

    • +1

Always raises concerns of authenticity when seeing Nike's online without half sizes, may not apply here just saying.

      • Went to the Nike shop. There were no half sizes, thus I left empty handed.

        • +3

must have been a fake nike shop

        • +1

          @kaneissik: Brilliant reasoning!

        • Just sayin'

        • @kaneissik: Not sure if you're joking or not. It was at Pacific Fair.

        • @ilikeit: i was bouncing off pennyless' comment

  • No size 11 left :( If you're a Size 10.5 or 11, im sure you could take the insole out or wear thin socks and get away with it - The OzBargain way!

  • Are these narrow like most other casual Nike shoes?

    • +1

      No.normal
They also run at least a half size large

  • anyone esle getting this issue "PLEASE ENTER A VALID EMAIL ADDRESS"

  • Great! Thanks OP! Grabbed a pair in a super rush earlier while waiting for the kids at swimming.

Always have issues with surfstitch recognising my user account though - end up as a guest every time…!

  • Cheers OP, got a pair for myself & my son.

  • Bought something else with the code anyway, fair few other sale items seem like good value with 20% off + free shipping

  • Looks like regular sizes have already been smashed only sz 7 and below left

  • I wish shoes manufacturers come together and standardised their shoes sizes… not that hard to do…imagine how much money they would save on returned postage cost!!!!

  • Popular sizes are all sold out.

  • Cheers OP, just ordered a pair!

  • Are they unisex?

  • Only kid sizes left.

  • Got 2 pairs. One for $75 then I saw the extra code. I got the 2nd pair for $60.

  • +1

not the most comfortable shoe tho, good price

  • Don't forget cashrewards.

I've also managed to roll my ankle twice now in these shoes, such is the absurdly low level of ankle support in these shoes. Not skating, mind, just walking around on some debris-littered footpaths.

Hope surfstitch bring back the mid versions of these shoes

    • How does work?
      I sign in,but I don't know next.

  • is size 7 UK or AU ?

    • +1

      "US Men's footwear sizing"

    Whos stefan janoski?

  • Does anyone know if there are any cheap sites to order shoes like this from overseas?

  • -6

    They look incredibly tacky.

    • +9

Thanks for sharing your personal opinion with us all.

  • Once again Surf stitch never fails to disappoint me.

  • "look trendy while pulling bong, running off with other kid's iphones, breaking into a granny flat, or even puffing on a cigarette out front of your local shopping centre"

    • +5

You put that in quotes, but I can't find that quote on the SurfStitch website? Is that an original?

      • Professional quote maker.

For those wondering, yes the promo-code appears to work for other stuff too. Just added a different sale item (Size 13 if anyone's wondering) to the cart and the 20% discount was applied.

  • Thanks alot OP. Managed to score a pair.

Have been getting bit nostalgic lately and wanting to get a cheap pair of Nike Max.

  • Just One size 5 left of Red…

4 and 6 only of Grey.

    • isn't size 4 kids. NEver seen it in shops

  • Thus is Stefan, his name is Stefan. Harden the (profanity) up Stefan!

  • Dark grey with white size 9 is back up!
    Grabbed one thanks op :)

  • Got mine today - they delivered it in one day.. Safe to say it's the quickest delivery I've ever had and coincidentally not AUSPOST lol

    • startrack is owned by auspost though ;)

    • How do they look ?
I sent mine to my PO box. StarTrack website says they were delivered at 11:50AM.
Got text msg and email from Australia Post at 12:50PM saying I had an item to collect, and mentioned it was a StarTrack package.
Wife drove to mall (for 2nd time today) to collect - after waiting 15 mins in line - and 10 mins at the counter, the lady said its not there and StarTrack dont usually arrived until after 3PM.
Why, oh why, would they text/email me saying its arrived ??!!

      Unhappy wife. Thanks AusPost :/

      • startrack once sent a parcel (addressed to my po box) over to another post office a few suburbs away. i thought it was strange since the norm is for the parcel to be sent to the same post office that the po box belongs to.

called aus post for that post office's phone number, they refused to do so or even put me through. called startrack who passed the buck to aus post "since it was held at a post office." f this crap.

next day i made my way over to that other post office where after a good 10 minutes, they couldn't seem to find it. the kept asking me for my street address, and, after some shouting, i eventually got through to the dimwits that it was addressed to my po box. they kept insisting that my street address was on the parcel, yet couldn't tell me either how either the merchant or startrack could get my street address. i had walked out and was on the phone to star track, when one of the staff came running over and said they found my parcel.

turns out they had put a collection card in someone else's po box of the same number as mine so if that person had come in earlier and picked up my parcel, i would've had to eat that loss. more galling was the incompetent post office staff flat-out admitted that they don't check the address on the parcel matches the name or correct suburb, just the po box number.

so tl;dr i'd check that the message you got from aus post matches your usual post office. if not, get onto it as a matter of urgency because the idiots make it so easy for someone else to picked up your parcel

        • Thanks for the suggestion. Thankfully when we went to the po box this morning the shoes were there waiting.

I just put them on. Quite lightweight and comfortable - the only issue I had was squeezing my heel in as they don't have a separate tounge so the opening is a fixed size.
Once my heel is in tho, they fit well with room to spare by the toes.
They look cool. Feel cool thanks to the mesh top.
          Nice cushioned heel.

        • @systmworks: glad you received your shoes!

yeah, i hate these 'bootie' type shoes. i resorted to making 2x 1cm cuts to make a tongue. shoes air out better with a tongue, too

      • They look pretty solid, absolute steal for $60. Unfortunately I wouldn't have a clue about what's happening because I don't have a PO BOX,but I assume it'll get there tomorrow if you live in Melb.

        • -1

how is it an absolute steal for $60? Because it has a white tick?

With daily use i bet these things will start falling apart with a couple months, and look stuffed within 6 months.

        • @itsdanthaman:

          You missed out eh?

        • @fookos:

meh……… i fell into the adidas fad for 2 seconds and bought a $120 pair on special, and were crap.

        • @itsdanthaman:

I tried them on last night - they're actually a good summer sneaker as there's so much aeration happening above the foot.

They probably feel a tad light to pay $150 (Nike tax), but for $60 they're a worthy addition to the wardrobe. I grabbed the dark grey version and it's fairly smart looking.
