Mercedes 1999 Vito 113 Van Front Wheel Hub Question/assistance

so i picked up Mercedes 1999 Vito 113 Van.

it's loud in terms of the brakes/rotors need replacing. plus new tires. otherwise it's a very solid vehicle - engine/gearbox/body just a few dings and scrapes.

took off the tires to take them to get replaced and have ordered new brake pads and rotors. will grease the bearing at the same time.

whilst taking of the front left tyre I noticed the entire hub is noticeably wobbly -there is obvious play. the hub nut is loose and can easily be removed by hand. when the nut is tightened it won't tighten all the way. i.e. the nut on the right hub is tight and there is a length of screw sticking out whilst the left doesn't tighten enough

the right side hub is firm and good.

the left is definitely screwed.

I'm assuming the wheel bearing is screwed and will need replacing.

I haven't taken the brake calliper off to examine anything underneath.

is there anything I should look for?
