With TGG currently offering 20% off, I'm looking at getting a Dyson Small Ball and wanted to hear what owners of this vacuum think. I realise the v6 and v8 are big on ozbargain, but I'd prefer a corded vacuum just because I don't think I'll be able to do a full vacuum on a single charge and over time the battery will deplete.
I currently rent a 2 bedroom townhouse with stairs, about 75% carpet and no animals.
We've had a range of Dyson vacuum cleaners, and recently bought the V6 handstick. The handstick is the best by far.
If you can change your routine a bit, you can probably do your whole house with the V8 in one or two goes. The fact that the handstick is so accessible (you just pull it off the wall and you're good to go), makes it much easier to just pick it up and do a room when you have a few minutes here and there.
What about the size of the canister? Seems like you'd be emptying it all the time?
I've used one before and didn't like it - it didn't perform any nearly as well as a full sized one.
