Whilst I understand the frustration that comes from store representatives posting secret offers, this Cabernet is awesome value at $10 a bottle. It is made by an iconic McLaren Vale legend that is better known for making Shiraz, but also makes a ton of other varietals as well and he hit the mark with this Cabernet. Well worth the $20 retail, in fact it is a little generous.
If anyone is unsure and would like to know the identity of the wine, please feel free to give us a call or flick me an email. There is a good reason as a store representative that I am unable to post the identity on a public forum, as much as it would be easier for myself and you to do so.
1800 649 463 is our number and [email protected] is the email address. A very easy way to get in touch is via the LiveChat feature on the website, all of which you can get more information if you require it.
Below is what the winedirect.com.au tasting panel had to say about this Cabernet.
There is little doubt in our mind that most of you love a cracking Cabernet and this is definitely the best bang for buck Secret Cab deal we have ever offered. For those without the patience to cellar their reds for years before drinking, THIS IS YOUR CAB! When we first tasted it we thought it could comfortably sell for $25+ a bottle, but retails for only $20 - and we've managed to offer it up at just $10 a bottle in this dozen, making it ridiculously good value drinking… it has plush red and black fruit along with a little liquorice, fruit cake and vanillin spice. Don’t want to open a $40 bottle of red with dinner midweek? You’ll never have to with a case of this Cab in your cupboard!

Screw cap or cork?
Bought my first WineDirect wine a few weeks ago, and it was sealed with a cork which I don't really like (more difficult to open, more difficult to save overnight etc).
