Looking for a SIM which only need to send SMS (For the security system)

Hi there,

I had tried to look for a SIM plan either pre-paid or post-paid or whatever, just want the minimum feature for sending SMS if there is any alert from the security system.

Please help as I've asked those retail shop and it must be a monthly plan blablbla which cost >$20 per month.

Is the alert system 3G or 2G only? Important because Telstra is shutting down 2G services at Dec.

All you really need is a long-life prepaid plan, 365 days expiry. The lower the cost of each SMS, the better.

  Didn't see any specification requirement on 2G or 3G so I believe 3G should be fine.
  
  Any idea on where I can get a pre-paid Sim Card for SMS sending only :)?

    Aldi Mobile seems to be the best for you. It is using parts of Telstra 2g ,3g and 4g network.
