Can anyone supply a recommendation for Jim's Jerky. I haven't bought any jerky since the Geronimo fiasco.

    • I suppose the days of 50% off jerky are well over?!

      What was the Geronimo fiasco?

Looking at the previous deals posted by the rep, the feedback was pretty good… I put an order in so I can report back in a week or so!

      • For anyone following this up in the future… I can recommend this product. I ordered two mixed sample packs - one jerky, one biltong - so tried a little of everything. The jerky itself is much juicier and flavoursome than the typical stuff you'd purchase in a supermarket. No jaw breakers. Pretty tasty. I particularly enjoyed the teriyaki flavoured jerky, and the smokey flavoured jerky. The biltong was also very good. The chilli variety is quite hot, don't throw a large handful in your mouth all at once like I did.

Even gave some of the jerky to my 18 month old to gnaw away on, he also approves.

It also came with a little handwritten note from the vendor. Nice touch. Quick order processing (no Geronimo fiasco here!) and postage.

Jim's Jerky biltong is quite moist and tender, easy eating. The flavours are strong so you know what you're eating. They typically take a full week - probably longer now with Australia Post. If you're looking for an alternative, Biltong2go have regular offers, do express post, but more cost effective in bigger bags. I'd rate Biltong2go above Jims - but Jims do a good Chili biltong and honey Soy biltong.

Just ordered a mild mix jerky variety pack and a biltong variety pack. Will report back.

    • Good quality and great flavour but I prefer my jerky a bit drier…..like Geronimo's.

      Would recommend buying.
