Just seeing if anybody knows of good deal for a good bed. I am after queen bed made from timber/pine (basically actual wood) and don't want to spend too much. We got ours from sleep city earlier ($300 - $400 for bed plus $100 each for bedside table). Just seeing if anybody knows any better place.

where abouts are you?? I bought mine from the auctions in waterloo ( sydney ) absolute bargain!!!
I am actually close to waterloo area in sydney. We came across a good deal at Harvey Norman end of financial year sale. It was $999 (bed, side table, tallboy) + $799 (mattress). But we still another small bed for spare bedroon. I would be keen to know about the auctions. It is new stuff or second hand?
its all new its D & D auctions. Its on bourke rd, up past inshape on the same side. The auction is sunday mornings u can go look on a friday arvo. Def worth a look we have cleaned up in there plenty of times. All great brand new stuff! U'll pick up a good solid bed cheap as chips!
You can always try Fantastic furniture… Obviously the quality for that sort of money will not be the best, but you can get stuff for around that kind of money.
