    • Thanks rep, but I've just submitted my order a couple of minutes ago, can I amend it?

      • +3

could you pls pm me your order number for checking?

    • This coupon has reached its usage number limit

      • Hi Buff,

I have just applied more stock for this coupon, pls try it now!

        • Cheers ordered!

  • will they ever do lightning cconnector versions?

    • nope, straight to bluetooth now :)

  • Is this good?

    • +1

      Very good.

My main headphones are audio Technica ATH-?50s and honestly there are equally impressive to me. These are earphones so won't be as immersive, though sound-quality wise they perform quite damn well considering the size.

In other words, I'm someone who after years of using M50s can't stand low quality audio, though these earphones were something that impressed me.

  • What are the hybrid components?

    • +1

Dynamic driver + two armature style drivers. Typically from what I read, dynamic drivers give better bass impact and armature drivers are better for detail, so naturally technology has evolved to combine both in one headphone for the best of both worlds - dynamic driver for bass and a pair of armature drivers for mid range/treble. I don't own these particular hybrids but I am using a pair of Sony XBA-H3 hybrids as I type this and they are phenomenal, albeit a lot more expensive (bought years ago).

      • I think the xiaomi hybrid has only 1 balanced armature not 2 which is why it's cost $22 (Chinese 1DD+1A IEM often cost between US$20-50)
The cheapest 1DD+2A I know is the 1MORE E1001 (1more made the 2nd piston for xiaomi) but it costs US$99…

        • +2

You're correct, the gearbest description is misleading. Makes much more sense at $22. Probably still crazy bang for buck though.

      • Wow, mind blown!

      EDIT: What he said ;)

    • Recycled PRIUS parts

  • Thanks, ordered one to replace the crappy S7 headphones.

  • +2

Are there any Xiaomi in-ear headphones that have full iOS control including volume?

  • I have the Piston 3's. Would these be an upgrade in sound quality or similar ?
EDIT: found this review which is pretty detailed and says that these are a definite improvement over the Piston 3, but maybe not as balanced, with the mids being slightly recessed.

    • +2

I thinki that overall, this would be a side-grade. Just sound different. I have owned both, piston 3s are good. Save your money and wait for their 2017 earphones

    • +1

The Piston 3 as Nathan said would probably be a side-grade… I don't think anything can sound as good as the Piston 3s IMO, and Im coming from the Bass heavy 2s… these Hybrids sound too balanced BTW as most reviews suggest…

    • It's only 20 bucks, what can go wrong?
To be honest I found rock zircons as my go to IE earphones and a little cheaper than hybrids.

    • +1

I have both. Was a downgrade for me. Tinny sounding and lacking bass. Not horrid but definitely felt like a cheaper product.

      • Thanks BK, you just saved me $22.50. I have too many headphones anyway thanks to OzBargain!

        • at least you didnt waste $350 on an SSD you didnt need, just because it was a "good price!" :)

I own a couple of pairs of these and have directed friends & workmates towards them too. I can honestly say they're amazing value for money as they feel great even after many hours (in fact you hardly know you're wearing them!), they offer excellent acoustic noise damping especially on a flight and they just sound incredible. I'm into audio but I'm no in-earaphile so don't have much to compare these with but for $22.50 I challenge anyone to find a better pair of in-ears. The friends & workmates have all been blown away with them… some even saying they slay their previous brand-name ones that cost well over $100-150! Might buy a few more pairs… actually, they'd be an amazing idea for bulk Christmas Presents or Stocking Stuffers.

Hey REP, any chance of an even better price for people wishing to buy bulk?? Say 10+ or even 20+?

    • +2

      Purchased by your recommendation :)

Put off a bit by the shipping time…are those shipping times accurate?

Who else does these but ships via feddex / DHL etc for a reasonable-ish price? My in ears just broke and I need new ones ASAP :D

    • Yeah, I think mine took about 4 weeks. Quite impressed for the price though.

    • They do have other shipping options listed

  • good earphones after wearing them in for 2 hours or so

You can skip tracks by pressing 'play' twice/three times

Can't seem to add it to the cart… Am I the only one having this problem? I'm using cashrewards link…

    • +1

      Same problem here

    • Me also. Perhaps out of stock? I'll try tomorrow.

      • +1

Managed to buy it using mobile site…

    • +3

I can add it to the cart but when I try and view the cart it disappears. Not using cashrewards.

  • +1

Have a set of these from a previous deal, and love them. Very much considering getting a second back up set.

  • Great sounding earphones and ridiculous value. As mentinoed before, they punch well above their price.

Only issue I've found is that aren't really suitable for wearing over the ear. Given the angle, the L needs to into the right ear and vice versa, but they don't sit quite right.

These are my go to cheapies when I don't want to get out my $600 quad BA custom moulded IEMs.

Any detailed reviews on this? Might bite

    • There was a very long audiophile-centric review.

Short summary is, they're the best you can buy for under $100.

      • Well, one of the best under $30-40 if we include Asian brands ;)

There are a lot of good earphones near $10-15 but unfortunatly, the durability is not that high

ps: there are more and more sponsored reviews on internet so it's difficult to find an honest one.

  • Is there anything with a mic by Xiaomi with this hybrid Tech and at reasonable price? Bought a OnePlus 3 recently and didn't come with any :c

    • This has a mic, and the controller even has VolUp/Down that works with Android devices

      • Ah, did read the description but clearly not properly, Cheers :)

My cart always says Your shopping cart is empty but the tooltip icon showing there are two items on it.
Anyone know whats wrong with it? I tried using Firefox and Chrome
I've created account and logged in.

    • Having the same problem in multiple browsers :(

      • using m.gearbest.com seems able to add to cart now

  • You guys will feel silly for spending a stack of money on IEM's after these!

    • Horses for courses.

  • Website cart having issues so ordered using mobile site and it goes through fine.

If you first sign up using new account, you will get 10 GB points.
Afterward if you sign up to their newsletter, you will get 50 GB points.
Total is 60 GB points = $1.2 discount.

    • did not work for me. reason below:

      How to Use Points?

      1. 50 Points = $1.00
      2. You can use points for discount if you have at least 50 points.
      3. The discount (from the Points) cannot exceed 30% of the item sub-total cost.
      4. Coupons cannot be used together with Points to reduce prices.
      5. Taking cash from "My GB Wallet" costs 5X Points value. For example: $5 will cost 25 Points.

Edit: sorry didn't realize the coupon was added after ur comment was posted.

    • Heh, subscribing to the newsletter didn't work ("Enter a valid email address" or some such, which was the email address I used to sign up which is legit) and forgot about the GB points when ordered. Ah well. I've been procrastinating ordering headphones for 6 months or so and was waiting for another Xiaomi Piston deal when this came up. After the praise here couldn't help myself.

  • Xiaomi should make Bluetooth version for gym junkie

  • do these work with iPhone (i mean the buttons)

    • The middle button should. Volume buttons won't.

Resisting buying a third pair, despite having an unopened pack from last promo

  • Do they work with Nexus 6p. I have a pair of Piston 1 that does not get detected when plugin.

  • I have narrow ear canals(?) and need smaller earbud tips otherwise the earphones fall out - do these earphones come with multiple changable earbud tips to suit different users? Thanks

  • Price listed at $17.99 and coupon seems to be invalid?

  • Anyone done much running with these buds?

  • These earphones arrived in the post yesterday and I'm blown away by them. I'm by no means an audiophile and was able to pick up sounds and bass that I couldn't hear with other $10-50 earphones. If you want them ASAP they can be had for around $30 on ebay.

  • Is there a version of this model without mic/inline controls?

    • hmm most likely, i mean sh!t its way cheaper so i assume it is fake

    • I bought a pair of $4 Xiaomi piston V3 headphones and wow I've never seen such poor quality on these knock offs. First off the physical quality was great for $4 it had nice anodised? metal jacks and volume buttons and looked the part aside from no logos stamped in on the ear pieces and when you used them audio was amazingly bad. peoples talking voices in podcasts were super super low and when they'd play a musical transition in the show the ear pieces would play the music very strangely playing parts of the music I had never heard before. Like you play the music with the headphones in and then replay it with using the speaker of the phone and you'd be like I could only hear 1 note section out of the ten it was supposed to play. I don't know how it works but the knocks or at least the $4 ones aren't worth your time.

  • Purchased, though coupon looks expired again.

  • i wasted my time signing up for this site, tells me the flash sale is over and the code does not work, i found this same hybrid one for 19.99 on ebay, it says original and high feedback seller
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Original-Xiaomi-Mi-IV-In-Ear-3-5m…

there is another one for 22.55

  • Being a cheapskate I ordered with the free delivery, but I need it to reach Perth in the next 3 weeks. Is that time frame feasible in people's experience?

Perhaps the rep can find out how long they're taking to dispatch the orders too? The page says today but that seems optimistic!

  • Tried again just now; worked fine.

  • Still waiting on my Pistons… never arrived. Buyer beware.

  • Worked fine for me with registered shipping it came to $26

  • +2

With current ebay 20% off deal, can get them in a few days, posted from an Australian supplier for $32. That's $9.50 extra without having to wait weeks from a Chinese supplier. I would expect better support from the Australian seller as well.

  • What difference with this one for AU$20.70? Are they legit ones too? AU$21.23 for sliver athough
    https://www.zapals.com/original-xiaomi-in-ear-earphone-with-…

  • still waiting? order dispatch date was oct 9th apparently? anyone else in same sitch?

    • Did you get yours?
      I'm still waiting

      • yep got em

        • are they silver ?
