  • m14 for $79.99 is a very good price

    • $80 for something sporting a cree xr-e led, an led that was released 10 years ago?
      Thanks, but no thanks.

      • Can you suggest a better alternative at that price point or cheaper? I'm looking for something.

          What do you want to use it for? What kind of batteries do you want to use? Do you need a gimmicky focus system that only works ok at either full focused or completely defocused?
          Do you need something lightweight and compact or something bigger and bulkier that can light up things at a large distance or do you want something that can produce a massive amount of light all at once like a flood light?

        • Wow I feel out of my dept a little. Looking for something similar to the M14 in size. If I can use my AA eneloops that would be a bonus! Same brightness as this one 400lm would also be good. Not too fussed about focus. It's just for general use.

          @gimme:
          At that price point I'd prob look at a Thrunite TN4A or TN4A HI, Nitecore EA41, Sunwayman D40A or Fenix E41.
          These are all similar 4AA torches which are far more compact than the M14 and also are a lot brighter and more efficient. My fave is prob the Sunwayman D40A personally. The only ones I haven't really tried out are the Thrunite models, which look VERY decent, especially the TN4A HI (being an XP-L HI led which throws a beam a bit longer but has more compact hotspot).
          Best advice would be to google them, see what you like the best (youtube reviews too) and then look somewhere like banggood, fasttech, dx or hkquipment. Sometimes you find them similarly priced locally after exchange rate changes, but you'll usually save a bit from the mentioned sites.

        • Appreciate the detailed info thanks!

    I'm after a decent light weight headlamp, none in this sale, can anyone recommend one?

      Armytek have a bunch of lights on sale at the moment. I bought a Tiara A1 Pro warm 90 CRI for 49usd shipped yesterday. They were still on sale today. Great lights, Can be used as a headlight, super rugged.
