I'm looking for a cheap Aussie VPS that I can use to mess around with.

    If you have a Pre-paid visa or an actual Credit Card (for verification purposes only) - You can get a free VPS directly from Microsoft via Azure with the $200 credit provided by them.

    They have multiple IPs around Australia, USA, etc.

    As I stated before, you only need around $1.00 for Verification; Would highly recommend using a Pre-paid visa due to the fact that they can't charge you once the free trial period is over.

    Also, the download/upload speeds are insane.

        You can essentially do it every month with a new Hotmail/Outlook email.

        I mainly use it for uploading/downloading my data to Dropbox etc - I have over 6TB worth of data on my Dropbox cloud. If I can remember, it took me around 2 hours to upload 1TB.

          @fruit: As stated in the previous post, the upload and download is insane. My current VPS is located in West Central US.

          You can just use the normal Chrome browser, and upload what-ever you need to any site.

          You have to use the 'Remote Desktop Connection' within Windows.
