a lot of these do look a lot like aliexpress glasses, a good description would convince me they are different
So what makes these ones almost 10x more expensive worth the money? Do they come with a case? proof of polarization? I'm fairly keen on the oak ones but I need some convincing also
These are clearly just cheap Chinese imports, the lenses will just be cheap with stickers for polarization and UV. Polarization in cheap sunnies is just a 2cent sticker they put on which decreases clarity.
Lol looks exactly like the same model, with 4 colours having the polarised sticker on as well. The dimensions photo and photos of other colours are now somehow gone from Makz website, but they all the same as this AliExpress listing, with the latter having more photos of the sunglasses from different angles
Edit: looking at the feedbacks on the AliExpress listing, there's a fair amount of negative ones with photos to show. So hopefully Makz's doesn't disappoint. I did end up buying a pair earlier today.

All our sunglasses fall within category 3 and 2. In simple terms CE and FDA certified and have a UV rating of UV400. All sunglasses also meet the glare barrier standards (antiglare).

Do any of the other models come with polarized lenses?
Any glass lenses, they are easier to clean don't scratch as easy …… Not worried about impact resistance as I don't wear them at night or at night clubs etc.
All our lenses are Polycarbonate and ATC Resin. We do not have any glass lenses at the moment.

Yes, we agree our products are manufactured in China and Malaysia and also explained our shipping strategy in the previous message. Even if you were to purchase from the AliBaba link you have provided, there is no way the item can be shipped from them in 7 days to Australia at that price. They have offered free shipping but that is for a time frame between 23-45 days. While an express EMS for 11 days costs $34. Which makes the product cost $35, while ours was $19.99. I hope we have cleared that to your understanding. after posting here, I caught up with hosh_mak, Makz made an offer to keep the glasses and offered a voucher to get a pair of glasses that would be the right size.
So i was mistaken about them and their seriousness and quick responses does differentiate them from other sellers.
All in all, I'm quite happy with their offer and communication
(they mentionned they will revise their product presentation with the arrival of new products in november)
