Is Ozstock Trustable???

Hi all!

I just bought the coffee machine was on new deal 06/06 on sunday with good price and liked the idea about dispatch in two working days.

I was waiting for one week and did not get any contact from ozstock.
I just called today and found out there are some problem with the stock which they are not sure about it.
the lady said, they will decide to cancel or deliever it next week.

does it usually happens?

I am not quite sure about this place. How can they hold the order for two weeks even they mensioned "dispatch in two working days"??

did anyone have same problem like me before?
please advise me before i take further action.

    have only got the free or relatively cheap things from them so far, they seem okay and easy to do a swap if something goes wrong albeit i have only done 2-3 purchases.

    what you have experienced sounds dodgy, personally i would being going for the refund asap or collecting the eqipment from the shop itself

    I got several freebies and a TV (probably my biggest, riskiest purchase online ever) from them promptly. They answered a question I had within an hour. I was very happy with their service and they seem to cope well with server loads much better than Catch of the Day (for example.

    The standard despatch timeframe would be if their had stock (which presumably would be in most cases) but if there was a problem with their supplier on this occasion I don't see a problem if they give you a full refund if they can't get the stock as expected (they should communicate with you to let you know the situation in a resonable timeframe though).

    i bought a couple things from them but i picked it up. they have a physical address full of stuff and they are chinese people. they seemed ok but probably a bit like MSY.

        I think mentioning their ethnicity is probably unnecessary and possibly worth a neg.

          really just mentioning it ? i like chinese ppl and i am mostly aussie

            @Mikinoz: It's an overt implication. Not trying to beat up on dlakers, as this site has many similar comments, but what was the purpose of putting their ethnicity in there.

            Physical address full of stuff-OK good, so they don't dropship stuff, they have things stocked
            A bit like MSY-Well, that could mean very cheap, long lines, but without the blinding PDF catalog.
            they are Chinese people-What does that imply? and if it the answer is it doesn't imply anything then why put the comment in there?

    i ordered one on the 8th june 2010. Emailed them today. They replied today saying that the stock had just come in today and will be shipped out shortly. We'll see.
