Small black/white logo on sbs or abc

I've noticed from time to time on sbs or abc (including abc kids), there is small white / black box logo on the bottom right corner

Does anyone know what is this for?

I found it rather annoying to see this from time to time…

It's a video watermark so that any recordings will be known as coming from those stations.

  OP is referring to a white square/rectangle that shows up occasionally.. it's like some kind of marker (for what I don't know). If you watch Rage, you'll see it a lot.
