Just wondering, if anyone here has bought a Macbook from Ausluck and can help me out with something.
I bought a Macbook Air 2015 edition in Dec 2015. works fine and everything but when i tried to register this laptop to my apple id, when i had to put in my date of purchase it said it was invalid, as i bought it from a reseller, that makes sense (i suppose??)
however I am trying now to update some stock apps, and when I tried to update iPhoto it gives me an error :
'Update unavailable with this Apple ID
This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled.'
can somebody advise if they have also received this message? I tried going online to chat to Apple support and was also not allowed as the 'complimentary technical service support has expired' which really irks me since I've had this less than a year.
I know of someone who bought an iPad Pro from AusLuck which had a JB HiFi sticker on it. So I guess they buy from JB and resell which might explain why you've been short changed on support.
