I'm in the process of building an outdoor shower and was looking for a cheap shower head, when I spotted the Methven Satinjet on clearance. I thought why not splash out a bit. I have the same head inside and even at full retail, its a small price for a luxurious shower.
Looks like they are discounting this line, there were about 10 at Bunnings Altona and Hoppers also had a few.
You just unscrew the old head and arm and you screw this Methven arm and head in to the exposed pipe (using teflon tape) from the wall.
These shower heads are amazing, the Kiri Satinjet is the best shower I've used…
I think though this is the fixed one that screws direct onto the wall? The one I have has the arm that can be adjusted…
Correct Arm is fixed, head is moveable.
I wonder if this is nationwide of just store specific?

Just a heads up, whilst I have not owned this exact shower head, I have had a few Methven shower heads and they have all leaked after a year or two. I am honestly getting tired of putting warranty claims in.
Hopefully your mileage will vary better with this one.
This seems be pretty common since they stopped making them in NZ and shifted production to China.
Yeah had one replaced, however their replacement service it excellent and yet to find a better showerhead
I called 3 Bunnings stores and the Altona store, all of them told me they don't stock this and have none in hand. I told them OP did buy one and they said mustv'e been a few weeks back.
Sorry to hear. I picked up mine last week. Hoppers definitely has a few, as my colleague picked one up on the way home (pic is actually from him)

Can somebody explain why this is classed as luxurious? I currently have the Bermuda (https://www.bunnings.com.au/flexispray-wels-3-star-9l-min-be…) and the green nipples have gone with adelaide's hard water. Just like to know what the difference is.

I have a Methven shower head attached to a shower hose and mine has a more rounded based than this squarish looking from the pictured. Have had it for a year and it's all good. Highly recommended Methven.
Can these replace a typical hose type shower head? So just screw it in? I have no clue what I'm doing.
