Is this the best deal to be had? DODO - for Home Phone and ADSL 2+ Unlimited Metro is at $64.90 with a contract.

I am on my last month of Internet/phone bundle with DODO, so I am looking at deals out there.

The Mrs. likes having a physical line so the phone line must stay.

There is no NBN coming in the near future. SO i am looking for a like for like deal.

TPG is slightly cheaper at $59.99 but after connection fees not much difference overall.

Anyone out there aware of any better deals.

I contacted DODO and this was their reply; "The best deal we have for Home Phone and ADSL 2+ Unlimited Metro is at $64.90 with a contract."
"You may add a $10.00 call pack to get unlimited Local, National and Mobile Calls excl. 13/1300."
Please be advised that our pricing has changed and it will take effect on your account starting next month.
Furthermore, we no longer offer the 100GB plan. For ADSL, we only have 50GB ($24.90) and Unlimited ($34.90)."

EDIT @2:10pm, Just saw this on deals (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/268932), this may seal the deal for TPG.

    Doesn't the TPG standard price include a bunch of calls? If both are the same price, I'd take TPG over Dodo; Dodo have always been useless any time I've dealt with them. TPG aren't renowned for their stellar service, but they have to be better than Dodo.

      Yep, I don't think the $59.99 deal includes calls, and it also has a $79.95 set up fee over 24 months, so I am now also looking at Spintel which is $5.00 cheaper per month for me, and no set up fee over 24 month contract.
