I don't drink the crap but while browsing Coles I saw it was "50% off" for ~$2… normally I think $4.xx
I always thought warm 2L coke was cheaper than buying a cold bottle? Maybe I'm just getting old.
This was a plastic bottle too as I saw glass 1.25L next to it for the same price.
I just get the feeling everything at the supermarket is getting way more expensive than inflation.
I don't know for sure if Colesworths is getting better at manipulating their customers (including me) into spending more money at higher and higher rates but their profits seem to suggest they are.
