Best Price on Honda CR-V Vti-L

Hi there,

I am planning to buy a 2016 Honda CRV VTi-L version and wondering if you can help me understand a) what's the best price I can get on this (I am ok with 2WD or 4WD) and b) generally what are the Honda dealer margins - i.e. how much room do they have to move?

RRP
Colour: Modern Steel (Metallic)
Honda CR-V VTI-L 2WD - $43,797 (best I have seen on this is $39,999 for non metallic White)
Honda CR-V VTI-L 4WD - $47,039 (best I have seen on this is $45,500 for metallic colour)

Please help me save :)

    :) No I don't need a 4WD, I am ok with 2WD.. will only consider 4WD if its going to cost next max +$1500.

    Wife likes Honda CR-V… but what else do you guys suggest?

    heya PT, forget the 4x4, it wont get to a 1500 diff

    General margins are 10%, anything more and they start prostituting each other, anything less and they may not be there next time…

    Just out of interest, what do you think Honda margins are?

    Agree, dealer margin might be 10% but the 'discount', 'offer', 'special', 'run out offer' are funded by Honda/Car company. Just in last few days I have learned that dealer are ready to sell a car which is RRP $43,500 for $39,990.. plus they are ready to offer more free stuff like mats, service etc.
