I have ordered a few of the free Kogan ones, not sure if they work because after emailing them, they said that a plan must be chosen when activating the sim card
is anyone aware of some that can be activated without a plan? I'm sure these exist because people used them for the free burrito deal

awesome, got about 10 coming in the mail this weekyeah, after the activation - it says "you have to activated" or something and then "choose a plan" - and you close the tab.

My Telstra credit expires soon and I plan to activate a new Telstra $30 starter pack and keeping the same number. Can Kogan sim be used as a go between to port out and back to Telstra on the same day? (I have ordered a free sim from Kogan)

kogan - plan isn't needed. you activate and then have to choose a plan. I had a kogan sim last 2 months with out credit. (dual sim phone - I'd send a message to the kogan sim every couple of weeks to test)
