Hi all,
I ordered 4 items from a furniture store and on the following day decided that I would like to cancel one item as I had a change of mind. Called the store and the salesperson said they can only offer store credit as opposed to a refund (This was prior to delivery of the goods) . Is this correct or am I entitled to my money back?
I took delivery of the remaining 3 items.
EDIT : I paid with Credit Card was wondering if I could just do a chargeback for that item.
Change of mind = retailer not legally obligated to refund/exchange, if they do its out of goodwill. You're lucky to receive store credit because they didnt have to do that.
