Anyone pick up any bargains from the Australia post's Dead Letter Auction yesterday ?

I couldn't find the venue in Sydney when I googled it yesterday.

I thought I saw on the news that someone bought 4 pairs of designer jeans for what sounded like $250.
An update a little later in the story said the jeans actually had the crotch cut out of them…way to blow $250.
Unless of course that's your thing.

oh, i would have been up for that.. (the auction idea, not the jeans without the crotch lol)

Cityrail have a similar auction once in a while too.

  I'd be interested in the answer to this too. Most of the time the first I hear of these auctions is on the news, after the event has already passed!
