Recommendations for Soundbar (Less than $250)

Not in a rush, happy to wait.

Noticed that a few people posted about the Aldi soundbars.
1) How are they going now? Still good?
2) Does Aldi have a specific period when they sell their soundbars?
3) I noticed this on Bauhn's website, but it maybe old?
4) Do all Aldi stores sell the same deals? Or are there specific stores that you can only purchase products like soundbars from? I live in regional Australia hence my asking.
4) Any other brands/recommendations for soundbars with the the $250 or less price tag that are good?
5) Looking for one that is wireless with bluetooth. Trying to reduce wire clutter.
6) Must have a remote
7) Any good deals, that have happened in the past, that you think may recur?

Never owned a soundbar and we have a small house. Just looking for something to tie us over for the next 5 years or so.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

  I'm happy with our sound plate (not a bar).

  Sony HT-XT1 as obtained for $225ish thru Sony store 50% off.

  Just a thought on this..

  will you consider something like logitech Z623 ($120 approx - check JB HI FI)speaker (+sub) connected to TV via Optical Cable/2RCA/ 3.3mm headphone jack

  or logitech Z523/503 models can be had for cheap.

  Soundbar under $250 may no give better sound quality but will be far better than TV speakers or wait for Xmas sale for good deals on branded (Sony.. LG.. Samsung .. Bose) soundbars

  Thanks for the replies!
  I would ideally prefer a wireless/bluetooth setup to reduce cluttering of wires.
  The Z623 does look good, but no remote with it, another thing i am looking for. Will amend my original post.
