Can you put a metal cutting disc on these?
Not really, they are pretty much only for wood and plastic etc
Depending on the blade you get you might be able to cut aluminium. You can get blades for metal in general but the cost is as much as the unit per blade
Definitely, but be careful of what your cutting. Generally if the metal is to tough or thick the overload on the tool will cut in. You're much better just getting a grinder cutting disk for any metal cutting. Unless you run a job where you cutting thin steel all day.
Just bought this and i am so pleased. When used with a 5.0ah battery you really cut through Timber/MDF effortlessly.
However if your a home user, would advise investing the money in a table saw instead.
