  • Is pick up available if we're in Melbourne?

    • Sorry, its for online only
      No pickup available

  • Expensive at RRP, 50% brings it to something reasonable but still doesn't seem like a bargain.
    Good luck with it though, looks like it's a product no one else is importing and can only be found on Indonesian/Singaporean websites.

      Thanks! We're trying to bring the price as low as we can, hopefully we can do better in the future.

  • You are telling Australia this faux leather briefcase is "waterproof leather material".

    • Thanks for pointing that out, i've fixed it!

    You realise that under Australian Consumer Law even if an item is a sale item you have to give a refund for the item if there is a major defect right? Irregardless of what you say, you cannot contract out of this provision in Australia.

    You should probably get a lawyer to look at your policies because you're going to get a rude shock when someone who actually knows the law shows you the ropes.

    • Right, ill go through it again. Cheers!

    • not returnable unless there is a manufacturer's fault

      Sounds fine to me …

        A "major failure" is much more than a manufacturer's fault.

        A major failure is one where:
        (a) The goods would not have been acquired by a reasonable consumer fully acquainted with the nature and extent of the failure; or
        (b) The goods departed I one or more significant respects:
        (i) If they were supplied by description – from that description; or
        (ii) If they were supplied by reference to a sample or demonstration model – from that sample or demonstration model; or
        (c) The goods are substantially unfit for purpose for which goods of the same kind are commonly supplied and they cannot, easily and within a reasonable time, be remedied to make them fit for such a purpose; or
        (d) The goods are unfit for a disclosed purpose that was made known to:
        (i) The supplier of the goods; or
        (ii) A person by whom any prior negotiations or arrangements in relation to the acquisition of the goods were conducted or made;
        And they cannot, easily and within a reasonable time, be remedied to make them fit for such a purpose.
        (e) The goods are not of acceptable quality because they are unsafe.

        Learn your rights, as consumers you have a plethora of rights under Australian Consumer Law. Lots of places will tell you no refunds etc etc, but irregardless of whether they try to contract out of it, or if it is not in the original packaging, if there was a major failure, you are entitled to reject the goods, obtain a refund or replacement or keep them and obtain compensation for the difference in value cause by the fault.

        • In the unlikely case of manufacturer's fault, we will give a full refund products that has any major failure or defect.

          @piulitzer:

          That's the thing, it doesn't even have to be a manufacturer's problem.

          https://www.idgoods.com.au/collections/all/products/light-br…

          This bag for example. If it turns out it's not waterproof, that's a major failure. They were supplied by description, from the description you have stated they are waterproof. Even if they are made perfectly by the supplier, if they aren't waterproof, that is a major failure and we as consumers are entitled to remedy.

        • @smileymiwo: Thanks for the input! We'll pay more attention on the description next time.

          @piulitzer:
          For this one:
          https://www.idgoods.com.au/collections/all/products/light-br…

          You changed it to say:
          Waterproof faux leather, resistance to standard rain and light water splash

          You shouldn't really use the word Waterproof as it implies that it is waterproof.
          What you described later in that description is actually "Water Resistant"

        • @lplau:
          Thanks for pointing that out! I've fixed it.

        • +1

          @lplau: maybe it is waterproof material? The faux leather (or vinyl)/p leather etc) that I have come across in the past is usually waterproof. Having said that it should be clear the material is waterproof and not necessarily the bag if indeed the bag isn't

  • Would definitely have ordered if the Blaxx Duffel wasn't sold out. :/ Can I put it on back-order with the discount code?

    I like the Brown Classic Earl Briefcase, but would need to see more photos. :)

    • Yeah, the duffel bag sold out pretty quickly.
      For more photos, checkout our instagram page on the website. Cheers! :)

      • Is there any chance you could kindly allow me to put the duffel bag on back-order with the discount code?

        • Thanks for the support! I can put you on pre-order if you want, but the next batch will take a few weeks to arrive. So we can't guarantee a quick fulfilment for it.

        • @piulitzer:
