these are $13.95 standard pricing at spudshed WA

    • Yes they are. We buy regularly.
I also buy the large trays of frozen pork buns made by Hanami.
Once steamed, they are dead set as good as any I've had in a yum cha restaurant.

      • thanks. Will check out the buns next time I'm at spudshed

  • damn this a good.

  • Are these japanese version of
Wonton or be treated like wonton or will taste crap if used like wonton?

    • +1

maybe too big for wonton? you could always try. better to fry imo

I got these at the last sale and they had gone down hill from when I'd tried them earlier. Last time they were basically just mush instead of actual prawn filling..

    • +1

I thought it was really mushy inside as well. But everyone else seems to love it. To each their own :)
I personally prefer the ones at Asian convenience stores like Hakka which is usually about 3 bags for $10-12

  • Thanks OP!

Got them today and they were pretty easy to cook.

    1. Added some chili oil and started to fry up six of them in my Wok
    2. After 2-3 minutes I added in 6 Tablespoons of water and popped the lid on top
    3. Waited till the water was evaporated and also gave an extra side a bit of extra crunchie frying
    4. Popped the Gyoza into a bowl and drizzled some Soy Sauce on it and YUM

Unfortunately the seafood industry in Thailand is heavily reliant on slave labour. Not under paid, actual slaves sold by slave traders

    Nice deal.
Just so everyone know Costco also has these 1.2 kg pack at $11.99 as their normal price

    • Same brand?

    • It was $16 for 1.2kg ;(
I made someone who has a membership take me there because of your comment lol. Had planned to stock up.

      • Which store did you go to? The one I seen was at crossroads

        • Moorabin, Vic
Costco apparently has silently gotten rid of their lifetime warranty too in case you didn't know

Eat these with sesame oil, chilli oil, black vinegar and soy sauce mixture. Trust me, you'll love it.

  • Thanks OP!

  • Got these for the first time yesterday. Loved them…..thanks OP.

    • Coles Catalogues run from Wed->Tue I think

  • Bought two packs on the weekend, had one pack tonight. Very good! Good amount of dumplings for $10!

Should have tried it earlier so I could restock before the deal ended.
