LG G3 Marshmallow upgrade?

I've been using my LG G3 since 2014 when I bought it from The Good Guys and it's still running Android Lollipop. There's no official update for Android Marshmallow yet and I don't want to root my phone to get it. Is it weird that it still hasn't been brought over to Australia? Is there a way I can get it without rooting my phone? Thanks.

    My LG G3 from JB Hifi is running Marshmallow now, its been around for a while. Have you tried forcing a software update via the settings menu?

    In December 2015, LG began to release an update to Android 6.0 "Marshmallow".

      I tried updating but it said it was already running the latest factory update :(

        Try a factory reset incase the update component has glitched. Otherwise there is not much you can do except wait!

        I have bought a grey import on 2015. I don't have Marsmallow either. I have tried resetting but no update.

      Aus stock is stuck on lollipop V20t-Aus

    Mine was a grey import too and I just recently updated mine to Marshmallow. Look up your phone model at LG AU Support website and download the relevant USB driver and the LG MOBILE SUPPORT TOOL for your phone. Once the tool is installed and with your phone connected via USB to your PC, click on "check for software update". Voila! You will be prompted for an update and just follow through the process.

    Before doing this, have your backup done, your phone charged up and expect the process taking 30 mins or so.

    Give this a go if you haven't tried this method and hope it works for you too! :)

      Didn't do anything, still saying i've got the latest updates. Guess I'm stuck on Android 5.0

    Try downloading LG BRIDGE and update to Marshmallow through there..

    I understand that you want to upgrade the phone to Marshmallow. Unfortunately, we do not have any firm plan in releasing the update to LG G3.
