Just to add, this has android wear support so you can drew your cards out from your watch and scan from there. Finally a use for my moto 360 XD
+1 for Stocard. I even use it for paying regular bills at the post office by adding the PostPay barcodes so I don't have to carry the paper bills.
event cinemas do it all the time ? is your phone just set to be way to dull ?

Some banks such as Commonwealth have apps that do it.
Haven't used that part of Commbank app but the app is generally very good IME.
Just tried CBA app, it's not worth it IMHO.
I haven't used it much but the experience that I have had has been positive, on Android at least

Stocard for me.
Somewhat fiddly but I have scanned images of the cards and open them using a file manager and image viewer.
I didn't like the permissions on the apps. Maybe if I have Android 6 or later, I'll reconsider.
If you have Android Pay, you can use that once you've added a card to pay with. Got FlyBuys, Woolies, MyerOne, IKEA etc. loaded in there

all other apps are passive means some old scanner wont be able to read
but this app is active means it shoots the barcode to the scanner.

works for all cards… not all phone.. i said cleary just for samsung.
well, thats why i stuck with samsung till now. tried stocard already. i like this more.

I have a Samsung phone but there is no guarantee I'll use Samsung forever. I'd go for an app that works on other Android phones.
Stocard, been using it for years. Great app.
I've been using Key Ring $0 cost on iOS for a couple of years.
You can scan automatically or add the cards manually.
Can also take photos of your cards front & back if ever needed. Syncs to cloud which makes it easy to share with Mrs. TT.

Has anyone tried the "Beaming Service for Samsung" app? It's been sitting in my Updates for ages but I currently use Stocard
that beaming service is just a service not app, the app that using it is beep and go check my link up there
I use 1Wallet now. Adds the cards to the wallet app on my iPhone. The cards will will pop up on the lock screen if you add an address to each.
