Card To Use In Dubai

Hi all,

Since many users seem well travelled and financially intelligent, i was looking for some advice on international banking and if there's anything better to use than Commbank travel thingy and what details to look for when selecting a bank to use. I'll be travelling to Dubai for a couple of weeks.

Appreciate any advice you can offer.

  Debit: Citibank Plus
  Credit: 28degrees

  No fees, close to market exchange rate.

  ING Orange Everyday (visa debit)… no matter where I have drawn out money from (around the world), and the fees have been stated to be $6 AUD or so, ING have only ever charged $2.50. Thumbs up from me!

      I was just mentioning something I knew about withdrawal fees from ING. Yes the foreign purchase fees are 2.5% of cost.
