eBay: Legitimate transaction or?

Hey Ozzz,

I was just wanting some positive feedback regarding this guy selling an item.

This was relating to a iPhone 7 Plus 128 listing on eBay and the message reads:

"Seems that Ebay doesn't give the funds first, so I refunded the last guy, Was wondering if you're interested in buying it still? You could send $350 (Half) to my PayPal give me your address etc I post it tomorrow morning and give you tracking and then once you receive it you send me the remaining $350? Just don't trust sending a $1400 iPhone with no actual funds. If not that's fine just let me know."

"Ifyou want to take my deal I've added a picture of my PayPal in a screenshot as Ebay doesn't allow links dunno why, but just send $350 and then let me know by messaging me on ebay and I will post it this afternoon unless it's already past 6 then I'll have to post it tomorrow and give you the tracking and once you receive it you send the remaining $350."

I understand as soon as most of you read this, even before the first line your reaction will be "heck no, its a scam man" but what about the part where if he doesnt send the item, he wont receive the other $350…

AGAIN, just wanting to hear feedback, not going to purchase.

      IF there is one born every minute that is:

      ((60x24)x365.25) which is around 525960 more Australian's waaay more than the Census wuz predicting and if they are all getting an iPhone, then Samsung (Sales and Marketing) have a bigger problem on their hands than a few Galaxy S7's going rogue and thinking they were BBQ's.

    He is just trying to get you to transfer via pay-pal without being associated with an eBay transaction.
    Much harder to follow up with buyer protection!
