Cheap and Cheerful 8" Chinatab

Been doing some research on a 8" Chinatab, mainly for watching movies on the go and not much else.

The only real requirements are a decent screen and reasonable battery life, budget around $100. Happy to supplement the battery life with an external power pack if needed. Not fussed if it's Android, Windows, or both. If it's Android, a tablet that can be rooted would be nice but not essential.

My research has come up with the Cube iWork8 Ultimate as probably the best choice, even though the battery life is a bit less than others. The Teclast X80 pro was seemingly the next best choice.

Are there any other suggestions, or an obvious choice I might've missed?

    They're the 2 best I've found as well.
    Chuwi Hi8 could also be added to the list, but the battery is smaller if I remember correctly.

    Xiaomi MiPad is the next step up in price bracket.

    I have become across a dozen various cheap tablets like these, and the battery life is well short of documented and what you would expect. I almost guarantee you will end up within a week getting a power bank. Try it first of course, but make sure you set aside some Robert for it!

    From what i can tell the battery life will be around 3-4 hours on these tabs watching videos, which is fine. Plus I already have a power bank at the ready :)
