Is OzBargain still using Drupal? How have you kept up-to-date with all the changes?
Is OzBargain Still Using Drupal?
Comments
lol how can you tell?
you can see the report has a blue flag near it with a 1
click it and you'll see reports 1 SPAMmindless bigots no doubt
Which bit? The blue icon next to the report button says spam.
I recall scotty saying that it's been modified to the point where it's not really drupal. I could be mistaken.
It has to be some form of CMS, it can't not BE
unless its a completely custom built from scratch, i would say its core would be one of the big ones
Ah… if you click the blue bit it says thanks
@shawncro 222: Not saying it's not Drupal or any other CMS. I think it's just been modified significantly.
He'll come in and correct us all soon.
It definately looks very CMS like
it could be fully custom though, as you said, hopefully scotty can tell us what the core runs onHe'll come in and correct us all soon.
Won't (shouldn't) be any time soon, scotty is at an event with plenty of booze on offer :)
@Spackbace: Should I know what event this is?
Your court case :)
It looks based on Drupal with a LOT of mods
none the less seems optimized okayYeah I read in the wiki it was based on Drupal, just wondering if scotty pulls in all the upstream changes.
you would want to hope so, without patching its expolit central
What Clear said. Started with Drupal 10 years ago, but much is customised now. Routing and module system are still Drupal-like.
What's the stack like? Do you use a WAF or any other security tools? How are passwords stored, I'm curious?

Yes yes, and where are they stored? And what is the SALT? And when are the servers least likely to be monitored? Do you have live monitoring? Does the DB use default credentials? And are there any known vulnerabilities? What are they? Come on, we're curious.
What's the stack like?
Here's something on OzBargain architecture although might be a bit out-dated.
Do you use a WAF or any other security tools?
We are too cheap for that.
How are passwords stored
bcrypt with sufficient cost.
Aaand someone reported it for spam. I believe it's been extensively modified by scotty.
