  • Any current manufacturer cash backs to stack with?

  • Interested in any suggestions on best systems available on this deal to best fit-out a 163SQM single story house - 3 small bedroom and 1 large bed with combined openplan family/living/dining kitchen. Bedroom areas all pretty much clustered along one side of block on corners 1 and 2 of square and combined area on 3 with garage on 4. Mum wants to kit house out but too scared to buy and do herself. Possible to buy and pay installer like this or does she really need to go to an installer first? Thanks in advance for any info.

Possible to buy and pay installer like this

Yes, I've done it 3 times. You can go to an installer for a quote, get prices for both supply & install, and install only. I've always been able to buy the units myself cheaper than getting them through an installer, thanks to union shopper, eBay sales, and cashback promotions like this one.

    • I had no problems doing this. Like quop says, get a quote both ways. When I was doing my family room, I used an eBay 20% off coupon and purchased installation from a local installer. When I did the bedrooms, the installer was able to give me a really sharp price that was marginally better than i could get elsewhere for the units (effectively cost because I was getting multiple installs).

Look out for other cashbacks as well, because I stacked all of mine with the Fujitsu cash back that ended in August.

Yep, got the last deal 3 months ago for the Panasonic 2.5kW for $550. Collected from good guys and they gave me the name of there installer company that was the cheapest.
