    Dupe

    • Can you provide the link? I couldn't find any dupe…

        • +1

They don't mention that it's for every game, only a specific game…

        • I just clicked the deals link for myself as you so rudely put it, and didn't see shit. Nice one m8.

        • +1

@buttstuff: guess you will need to wait for a SpecSavers bargain then

      • Oh wait, 2 guys posted separate deals on the 15th but there wasn't a general post.

        Good job!

        • +3

yeah - this deal is better than the other two!

        • -4

@HeXa: why did you guys upvote?

        • +1

@michaelTito: Nobody had posted the general deal yet.

      • I'm glad you posted it! Thanks mate!!

      • No one has posted it as a deal but it was posted in the comments when all the DLC's were free for BF4.

Battlefield 4 can be purchased form origin for $9.99 using the code "origin50" for 50% off (OFFER EXPIRES SEPTEMBER 22, 2016 10:00 AM PDT) T&C's(origin.com)

I'm panicking, I don't know what to buy

    • First, narrow it down to things unlikely to be cheaper than this in the coming Halloween steam sale. Should only be a handful of games: Origin exclusives, a handful of very new titles…

  • +8

    awwww. I wanted BF1

    • +1

Guessing it doesn't work with BF1 then??? I was about to try.

      • +2

        excludes preorders.

  • +12

    Still too much $$

  • Does this code work on the Origin Mexican site?

    • +1

Yes, can confirm! I bought star wars battlefront ultimate edition for $26.49 USD

      • +2

I urge you to refund it then.

        You'll have a hard time finding a game; http://swbstats.com/

PS4 is where all the players are now.

      • Battlefront is dead on PC coz EA greed. Console has a little more life

  • Tempted to use this and buy NFS from the Origin MX store…. $20 USD.

    • +2

Just a heads up, NFS 2015 has the same wanky handling and physics as the other recent NFS games.

      • +1

I paid $7 for the Origin Access just for the new NFS. I was a huge fan of UG2 and MW2005. The first 10 minutes was 8 minutes of cut scenes and the cars just felt like bricks. Drifting felt horrible as well.

        But that's just my opinion.

        • +2

I would agree. As a fan of the Underground era NFS games, the recent ones have been a huge disappointment. They all have a weird input/steering lag, it's awful.

I'm currently pre-loading Forza Horizon 3, hopefully it's kept similar handling to the original Horizon.

        • @O15: Seen any deals on FH3? Americans are getting it for $60 USD but we're charged $100 for the base game?

Apparently Singapore Micro$oft store is cheaper.

        • @SnowDragon:
Yeah, that's the upfront downside to Horizon 3, at least for PC. It's been many years since I paid $100 for a game, and that was when I gamed on console!
I just said to hell with it and bought the deluxe edition from Windows store. Doesn't seem right, but hey, I haven't bought many games this year.

MS Singapore store is the only cheaper alternative I've heard of.
There was also an eBay store which was selling it for something like $65, after the discount code, but I don't know if it would activate for PC. I'm not quite up to speed on their "play anywhere" system.

        • @O15:

There isn't much about it that I can find but as far as I know, if you own it on Xbox you own it on PC.

Might just get it at JB for $79 then.

        • @O15: Any idea if we can play with steering wheels on the PC for FH3?

        • @SnowDragon: The Xbox Play Anywhere feature (buy once, play on Xbox and pc) is only applicable to digital copies though, which sucks because some stores have pretty sweet preorder bonuses for the deluxe physical copy. I think I want digital for Play Anywhere more than I want the bonuses though.

      • Appreciate the feedback, might hold off on this one then. I still have a lot of other racing games to play.

  • +1

Upgraded my copy of garden warfare 2, thanks op!

    • is there many aus games? howmuch was it?

      • Aus servers are dead unfortunately - barely any players. You will find more action on the american servers and it's pretty much full games. I picked it up at ozgameshop for $32 I think with a $5 pp voucher I had. Great game, highly recommended!

  • +1

    Any bargains?

    • Yes

    • +1

      No.

  • -6

    Works on BF1 pre order ? :P

  • -4

    Guys,

Use Hola VPN better internet add to Chrome extension, then switch to Russia Origin Store, Price would be more cheaper.

I got Plant vs Zombie Garden warfare 2 for around ~$13 USD ($17 AUD) quite cheap

    Have fun

    • +2

You're probably being downvoted because Hola isn't a safe extension to use as a VPN.

      Checkout http://adios-hola.org/ for more information.

      • So what is a better (safer) way?

        • +2

          a real vpn?

        • +1

          7 proxies.

      • Never knew hola was that unsafe

  • Is it worth getting the Mass Effect Trilogy at that half price? 15AUD?

    • +4

If you haven't played them, $15 is an absolute steal for one of the great modern videogame trilogies.

      • Plus Mass Effect 3 is still exclusive to Origin, as far as I know. You can regularly get 1 and 2 on steam for $5 each, in sales, though.

  • +1

This website: https://vpntips.com/hola-alternatives/ says https://www.tunnelbear.com/ is the closest alternative.

But if you want the best experience, then it's down to a proper VPN. There's occasionally deals on them here on OZB.

  • I'm just trying to figure out if Dragon Age Inquisition is worth getting.. cheap, but has a lot of bad user reviews.

    • +3

      Good god yes buy it!

    • +1

Biggest issue for me is that they have a dwarf with an american accent. It just feels wrong…. :P Other than that its pretty fun :)

    • +1

I loved this game so much. If you like a game that you can put 100 hours into and develop relationships with NPCs that depend on your choices, it is epic. You really feel like you are helping people to rebuild after traumatic events (being deliberately vague to not spoil). At least I did. If you want to just kill stuff maybe not so much. It made me play the prequels again too just to remember the story. Just an amazing, lore-filled experience akin to, but slightly less awesome than Witcher or Elder Scrolls series.

    • +3

Ignore the user reviews. The only RPG better than this is the Witcher 3. If you don't have the Witcher 3, buy that. If you have it then buy this in a heartbeat. Seriously brilliant game.

    • I'd imagine that most of the bad reviews come from fans of the original. DA:I pales in comparison to the first in a lot of areas, such as combat(although this is highly subjective), writing and quests in general. Everything else besides the main quest feels so mundane. The maps are filled with stuff to do but there is no substance to them, so by the time i completed half the maps (i'm a bit of a completionist, but even that isn't enough to pull me through) i was just over it and went straight to the story.

I definitely wouldn't recommend it at full price, but at $25 bucks with all the DLC's i think it's worth it especially if you are new the the franchise.

    • Problem with the game is it starts off boring, don't stay in the beginning area… branch out.

    • Yes, you should totally buy it. It was a bit of an adaption getting used to the systems after the old DA games, but I loved it enough to play it twice. One tip - play as a dual dagger rogue, it's so much fun and really works with the combat system. (Preferably as the British voiced female, it's Sam Traynor from Mass Effect and she does a great job.)

  • bf3 $10
    bf3 premium $20
    bf4 premium $25

    not bad i guess.

    • Why would you buy bf4 premium if all the dlc is currently free?

      • That has expired.

  • FIFA 16 for $24.99 low enough for me to jump

  • +1

$20 for Mirror's Edge Catalyst. Sweet!

    • $17.11 at the Singapore store.

  • I bought the secret world

    • Heard of that, any good? I'm looking for a new MMO game to play

      • Review says good - it's unique not your usual kill dragon thing, so might be refreshing.
It says very well written and all voice acted. Also no subscription fee.
With just $15, I thought why not.

Haven't played it yet, waiting til weekend.

        • Lol i guess why not then…

  • +1

    Any bargains? No BF1 sad

  • wait so you can only get one game? i was thinking about completing my sims 3 collection

  • +1

Anyone know if i can redeem the witcher 3 expansion pass on origin in GOG? i bought the witcher 3 via good old games and im curious to know if i can purchase the season pass from origin.

  • +2

Man, I was going to buy the season pass for Star Wars Battlefront for the kids, as they love the game, but are bored with it now… but no way, not even at half price.

Such a complete rip off paying that much for DLC!
