Hi guys,

Posting my first bargain so go easy. Saw this on reddit and searched to make sure it wasn't a duplicate. Seems like nvidia is providing new purchasers of selected GTX 1070/1080 owners with a free copy of gears of War 4. I haven't personally redeemed it but someone can try it if anyone has purchased a new card in the last day or so.

      You can always ask. Im getting a replacement 1070 FTW (cos of coil whine) which Im going to try and redeem if I can. Replacement was ordered on Monday and is in transit so let's see how I go.

    Think this only installs on win10. Useless unless using win10. Think that should be in header if correct?

      Well you still get the game so Im not sure if its required in the header. You can technically give the key to a friend of necessary.

      Maybe its time to click that free upgrade reminder at the bottom right corner of your taskbar. If you want to play all these sweet Xbox games, then Win 10 is the way to go.

      On EVGA site, the offer doesn't come up when I select Australia, only the US site has the offer. I bought from the NZ based seller too and I'm not sure where they would of got their cards from. When I get my card, I'll just register For australian warranty and try to redeem the game on the US site, hopefully it will work.

    Not sure about the other manufacturers but the EVGA website says "Valid only for purchases on or after September 20th, 2016"

    Just a pro tip for some of those who have 1070s but haven't registered online on their respective manufacturers. A potential way for people who have purchased it maybe up to a week ago can register their GPU and leave the purchase date as 20/09 but still upload your original receipt. It might take a while for the system to recognise that you're eligible for the game but it should work.

    I've done it with MSI just then so others maybe give their own manufacturers a go! GL.
