The Nexus 6P is by no means "shit". Contrary to that, it is a great phone, though not as powerful as 2016 flagships. Of the bunch, The 6P and G5 are the best, you simply need to decide whether or not you need the features that the G5 offers (i.e. modularity).

  • Also LG bootloop has nothing to do with flashing ROMs. It happens to unmodified stock phones.

Huawei might be Chinese but they've started building premium phones that easily compete with the Korean brands.

  • Nexus 6p Vs Nexus 5p Vs Moto Plus G4 Vs LG G5

No need when you have this

  • LG G5 - issues with build quality and plastic layering on metal, possible bootloop (rectified ?)
Moto G4 Plus - owned by Lenovo, quality is taking a dip, gone are the days of direct support from Google
Nexus 6P - best Android phone on the market but has flaws
(6P has big bezels, no OIS, is not waterproof, suffers from bendgate, in-efficient Snapdragon 810 drags it back)

Nexus 5P - not yet announced/released, wait a month or two, possibly made by HTC.
…unless you mean the Nexus 5X: identical to the Nexus 6P only much more affordable and slightly smaller.

    • "unless you mean the Nexus 5X: identical to the Nexus 6P only much more affordable and slightly smaller."

Not really identical. The 5X has a lower resolution screen, worse front facing camera, slower CPU and less ram. The only thing identical is the rear camera. The 6P is the better phone (if you are happy with a 5.7" device). However it is more expensive.

      • Honestly, I don't see a performance difference between the two. The QSD 808 is that good, and the QSD 810 throttles like there's no tomorrow.

Well, ever since the performance bugs have been ironed out on the 5X.

Design wise, they're also quite similar.
        They're quite identical, and that's a good thing :)

  • Nexus 5x, non-expandable storage, unless you plan to use something like Dropbox, also not the best battery

    Moto G4 - No NFC

Lg G5 - Yet to find a con

Nexus 6P - Bending issues, not waterproof

Solution: Don't buy a mobile phone.

  • Of those I would buy the LG or the Moto because I value expandable storage. The Moto doesn't have NFC which might be a pain if you want to use android pay. The LG seems to be quite good, although it is a bit gimmicky and they had problems with the G4. I recently purchased the Moto x Pure (last year's Motorola flagship) but I am still awaiting shipping, so I can't comment on how good it is.
Of those four I would get the G5.

I love my Moto x Style, just a little too big for me.
I got it for $300 from the last the Vodafone sales. BARGAIN!

      • I'm pretty salty that I missed out on that (or rather couldn't figure out how to buy it haha). I picked it up for $377 when the 10% off phones deal was on like 2 weeks back.

        • Too bad…I bought my early on the morning and there were only 2 in stocks.

BTW the Moto X Force below is another good deal with local warranty for $472

  • If you want bigger battery and Micro SD slot.

    Moto X Force

it ticks nearly all the boxes, good camera, cpu, battery, shatterproof screen.

    Only con is slower update.

  • I am flying overseas next week want to claim TRS and upgrade from my LG Nexus 4 - any recommendations on where to get a good price deal? I am very happy with how the Nexus 4 worked, now I need more space for spotify etc. Nexus 5X seems to fit the bill because I don't want a huge screen either but can't see any deals that aren't expired.
