Hi all, since ebay got 15% off now, what's the best native 4k projector you can buy less than 5k?
Narrowed down to two JVC X5000 & Epson TW9300. Which one you reckon I should go for? Mainly use it for movie, sports & little PS4 gaming
Thanks!

How big are you trying to project?
Generally, a TV is much much better performing and cheaper.
You should seriously consider this before making a purchase.
110" screen I would say
Oh that's big, okay.
I don't really know much about projectors.
But there is one thing I do know, is that the good stuff cost quite a bit.
Not that its obvious or so, but there's really no hidden gems like a TCL TV that can compete with twice its price.
Or so, that used to be the Golden Rule, not sure if projector market has changed that much.
I think this question might be better answered on a forum thread about Home Theatre systems.
Best of Luck!

Find out how much replacement bulbs are, make decision from there ;)
Don't really care ;)
I've just bit the bullet on the JVC DLA-X5000 thanks to the ebay 15% sale.
I hadn't checked out the Epson until now, but on paper it looks better in most aspects, except black levels.
Neither are true 4K resolution, but that doesn't worry me.
I wanted one with good contrast/black levels (for use in dedicated dark room), and with powered zoom/lens memory to work on a 2.31 screen. (both of these fit that criteria)
I've been eyeing off the JVC for a while, it seems to have nothing but good reviews, but I don't know much of that Epson.
Sorry, I can't really help, but that's where I'm at…
As for bulbs, yeah…don't choose this level projector based on the bulb cost, choose it based on how happy you are with its image.
speaking of which? Which speaker set would be good to buy for a HT setup? Just need 5.1 system
