Oral B Vitality Electronic Toothbrush Heads

Anyone bought the replacement heads for Oral B Vitality Electronic Toothbrush from eBay? There are so many options but looking at prices I reckon most are just fake and would die in few use. Shavershops, Chemist Warehouse a bit expensive. So wondering if anyone has bought these heads from any specific eBay seller and they are finding it good.

Can you please share the eBay links?

Just a point of semantics: the word you want is genuine. Non-genuine heads are just as legitimate, i.e. legal, as genuine ones.

      • Yes you are right, it is semantics. Especially when you understand the context.

    • How much stress does a possible failure of a toothbrush costing under $3 actually cause? I mean really!
This seems to me to be the epitome of the situation where substantial savings could be made by purchasing non-OEM with almost nil downside.

From my personal experience i wouldn't.
I had non-OEM ones break up in my mouth whilst using it and it cut up my gums.

different quality with different makers etc but since then i've only used genuine and for me they tend to last longer also.

        • Wow, I would never have believed that if it wasn't from a reliable source!
I saw reviews on Amazon like the one below and figured they were astro turf from Braun to scare people. I mean, who would keep using them after they made you bleed several times!:

"I bought some of these in November last year and all was OK for the first few weeks. However, shortly after Christmas my wife and son started complaining about the brushes nipping them in the mouth. Being a bit of a cynic, I put this down to just a fluke. However, shortly after that one disintegrated in my son's mouth, thankfully causing no damage, and the suspicions started to increase. Soon after that my brush started nipping the inside of my mouth drawing blood on more than one occasion and over the next couple of months other things happened that suggested these were not genuine"

        • @mskeggs:
i got mine from amazon too when i was living in the UK.

Thanks for calling me a reliable source, ha!

  • Bought the absolute cheapest ones on eBay, about one year's supply. They are fakes of course and they weren't advertised as genuine. IMO they work OK and last as long as the real ones but they are definitely of inferior quality. I will use them but probably won't buy again.
