Got a few votes on the last deal I posted for these, save another $5~ and get it from a local store!

Supports 15 devices - Up from the 5-8 on most of the other Harmony devices!

Found mine brilliant, took a little time to get used to after using Harmony 650's, but I'm loving it now!

Cheapest I have found is $316 del'd @ Futu Online with CSUN20 code.

Love this remote and the hub. Works well with my LifX bulbs and IFTT recipes. I got this for under $197 at JB about 2 months ago though…

    • Damn! No Deal post!?

      • It had been marked down already, and then JB had a 20% off Logitech sale. Brought it down to $197. I'm not a heavy user of OzBargain, so didn't even think to post about it. It was at the Carseldine store in Brisbane, if that helps anyone.

    • $197 for the Elite? Really?

      • Yep

  • How? Also like zero stock in QLD

  • I've had Harmony Remotes for a while but the Elite is easily the best. Highly recommended.

dam i wish i had know about the $197 deal at jb

  • Wow that's an insane price for a remote. Is it really worth it?

    • It really depends whether you have a lot of devices to control or not, Fantastic if you have a home theatre etc!

  • Will it work with my PS4?

    • Yep it will work fine, unfortunately, you can't Power a ps4 on with anything but a dualshock 4 though, a Sony limitation. Very frustrating, hopefully they change that at some point.

    • It works, but is very limited. As XeKToReX mentions, it can't turn the Ps4 on, and I can't see that changing anytime soon. Sony have licensed the Bluetooth stack out to an official remote that is not Harmony…

It can be used to move around the Ps4 menus, but its application within apps is also very limited, e.g. Playback controls don't even work for bluray.

  • This remote is a beautiful thing. It's a huge improvement over the last model (which had buttons above the screen - that was a pain to use.)

    Thanks for posting this one.

If you do buy the remote, make sure you update the firmware first - which is done by downloading the desktop software (MyHarmony) and a USB connection to the remote (connection is under a plug on the bottom edge). The mobile software doesn't do the firmware update, and I lost a fair bit of time with setup.

Also, migrating my existing Harmony One settings failed. Ended up having to create the setup from scratch.

    • That sucks, I migrated from a Harmony 650 without too many problems.

Good info though for anyone just in case they hit the bug too.

      • I should clarify - the migration failed when using the mobile software first. Didn't bother to do a complete reset, and see if a migration using the desktop software played nicer.

Also, expiry of this deal is tomorrow according to the signs in store.
