I came across an ad on a Facebook sales page (targeting expats in a SE Asian country) offering, for around GBP100 (annual "subscription" fee of GBP70 from the second year), an Android based set top box running Plex to access all of the SKY UK channels, including on demand/PPV - the marketing focuses on the sport (15+ channels), especially the EPL / UEFA comps. I assume such a service, especially in the UK, are of questionable legality.

Anyone had experience with these type of services? How do they operate with apparent impunity?

          It doesn't appear to be a website per se, more like a ROM'ed set top box, but the short video demonstration I saw looked acceptable. The feedback from users seemed good too - as I mentioned they operate from a closed Facebook group (this one was mostly expats in Thailand) - hence my interest…I'd be happy to take a punt for $150.

    Shell corporations registered in tax havens in such a way as to legally hide the true owners.

    Tax havens were invented by the British in order to divest themselves of all the annoying responsibilities of running countries like massive slave camps failing as an empire. The USA is currently on a hellbent mission to shift all the world's tax havens into America by prosecuting people that do this anywhere but America.

    Despite all the gummint blabberings tax havens are not going away.

    If you dont care about the on demand, mobdro does most of sky and alot of other channels too. Plus its free (with some ads).

      Thanks mate, looks interesting. All I need is a cheap Android tablet an emulator like Bluestacks & a Chromecast and I'm set!

        an android TV box works too. There were some cheap ones floating around here earlier in the month.
        Then you can get showbox lite for your on demand tv/movies

          Thanks for the Mobdro recommendation (and the Android box), I tried it out using Bluestack emulator on my lappy last night, works a treat!
