    Dunno if serious or….

  • Need a good backup plan if you are putting everything on a hard disk. A DVD or tape is unlikely to crash.

      HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

      Oh wait you are serious!

      HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

      • Just a warning that it's not much of a deal if you lost a lifetime's worth of memories!

        • Tape and DVDs degrade too

        • @fruit: The other day I tested some 20 year old data on dvd and still working fine. Anyways just don't rely on a single point of failure peoples!

  • No VHS? What about Beta?

    • Hi VHS and Betamax are included thanks

  • Could you please explain how someone can obtain this deal and what the discount/deal amount is? Thanks

    • Hi. our Videos to DVD, USb, Harddrive normally sell for
$25 so you can get a video digitized for $15. They can give us a call on the number listed or send an e-mail under the Contact us link on our website www.videotodvdmelbourne.com.au and say would like to redeam the OZ bargain deal

      • Thanks for the clarification, I'll add that to the deal.

  • So this is a flat rate conversion fee per tape? So if there is nothing on the tape would you still charge? I have about seven hi-8 (I think) tapes I want to convert to digital format and varying lengths of actual content. I suspect one tape only has about 15 minutes on it. Also I'm very nervous with sending extremely treasured memories interstate in the mail.

    • Hi, thanks for your Enquiry. We post videos interstate on a regular basis as long as you have a tracking number and the address is correct , they will be safe.

It is a flat rate per tape up to a maximum of 3 hours.. Please e-mail [email protected] and we can provide a customised quote. Hope that assists. With regards to blank tapes or tapes that have TV we usually charge a $5 checking fee but can reduce it for this deal to $2.

      • Ok, thank you. Will send you an email.

EDIT: Actually they are video 8.
