[RESOLVED] Suggestion: Favorites on OzBargain

Hi Admin,

Have a Favorites tab under My Account and add have the ability on deal/forum posts to add them to Favorites.

I understand that there is already a 'Subscribe' option, which sends out an e-mail for every comment posted. But the problem is that User may not be interested to read through all the nested emails(multiple comments).

Adding them to Favorites will make it easier to find the deal.

For example, With the Amex Shop small promotion.. the deal was posted on 23/08, Registrations open on 13/09 and the spend period is 16/09 to 18/09.
If I need to find the deal, I either search for the deal (or) Search for the store and then locate the deal.

Another advantage over 'Subscribe' is that 'Favorites' will minimize the mail server traffic.

        Also, you can use the Reminder feature which for example on the AMEX deal will include the deal in the newsletter as well as show up in your notifications on the day.

    I think I raised this before, but how about a section on the front page to list favourite stores?

    Eg. Currently if I want to find all Amex deals I would need to search for American Express in the search box and then click on the store link in the search results. If there was a space on the front page to list my favourite stores I could simply click on the link. This is different to bookmarking favourite deals.
