[Solved] Returning Scosche Car Charger to Amazon from Melbourne. How and What?

I bought a Scosche USBC242M ReVolt Dual Car charger. Unfortunately the item does not work with my car (Honda Civic). Now I need to return it for a refund.

Looking at AusPost postage calculator, they would charge around 16 AUD for postage plus 5 AUD additional for signature on delivery (Amazon has suggested to post with signature on delivery).

Has any one from OZB community has returned to Amazon? What is the cheapest option available from Melbourne? I guess I cannot send the item in envelope, what kind of box/packaging should I use in case I have to use AusPost?

    When ever I contact Amazon they give a refund without me having to post it or even send a picture. They do say to buy it locally next time.

      Is there any reason why it would work in other cars and not in my car? I googled for compatibility information for this charger but didn't find anything. I am a noob as far as cars are concerned.

        Hey I had a similar issue with my Mazda CX-5 where a lot of regular 12v to usb car converters wouldn't fit (they were too short for the Mazda slot). Funnily enough, the Scosche one I bought worked perfectly fine on the one in dash /shrug

          I think it was not a fitting issue. The charger seem to house perfectly in Honda civic. I then tried it in my friend's RAV4. It did not get the power.

      I asked because now I am interested in Anker's car charger but not sure if it would have same problem with my car.

        I only mention that because you said it wouldn't work in your car, as opposed to that is just wouldn't work. Maybe I misread it.
